ACE High System (Allied Command Europe High) was a Troposcatter communication system of NATO during the Cold War.
One of my most intense experiences.
This place is located on a peak of Apls. It wasn't a rational decision to climb this snow mountain without any clear path at night. After I reached halfway and then realized it is just impossible to keep going on, but it's also too dangerous to go back. I was stuck in the middle and for the first time felt extremely desperate. It ends up with I slipped down by accident for over 10 meters. Bruises and scratches all over my body are evidence of the insanity of that night.
This place is epic, but for sure I won't risk myself doing something like this again.

"This is a model of the Apollo Command Module, which carried a total of 27 astronauts to lunar orbit aboard nine missions between 1968 and 1972. Launched by a Saturn V rocket, the largest and most powerful rocket ever built, the Command Module was the only part of the spacecraft recovered at the end of a mission."

Coastal command and control bunker for coastal artillery lower NY harbor used during WW 1 & 2, replaced by Minuteman missiles in 1960. The coastal artillery had a range of six miles guarded by 16-inch guns. During the 1930's a complement of torpedo patrol planes was also housed here guarding the entrance to NY Harbor. The area was known as Miller Field and is now part of the Gateway National Recreational Area.
The Battle of Brandywine (September 11, 1777) featured more troops in combat than any other engagement of the Revolutionary War. Seeking to capture the American capital of Philadelphia, British General Sir William Howe led his forces north from their landing point in Maryland, and American General George Washington positioned his troops behind Brandywine Creek near Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania. The British and Hessian forces outflanked the Continentals—due in large part to the efforts of the seasoned Hessian Jägerkorps—and attacked from the rear. Units under the command of Generals Nathanael Greene and Casimir Pulaski provided enough cover for Washington to retreat, but the way to Philadelphia was left open, allowing Howe to take the city two weeks later.

Got an itch to try my hand at decals again, with these basically being recolored versions of Hound Knight's designs. I was unhappy with my last attempt at Hessian Jäger uniforms, since the standard LEGO green was much too bright and Jäger typically did not button their jackets. Overall, I really like both of these figs, especially with the added cuffs (paper) and shoes (electrical tape).
Soli Deo Gloria and happy building,

💋 Kallina — She doesn’t walk into a room... she commands it.
I slipped into the Kallina Dress by WellMade, and suddenly the world melted away—only the curves of my body and the whisper of temptation remained. With a plunge that dares and a hemline that plays just above sin, Kallina is my weapon of choice when I want hearts racing and eyes locked. Every fold of its silky silhouette traces me like a lover’s gaze… firm, focused, and utterly undone.
Inspired by the bold, liberated energy of the 1970s disco queens and the daring seductresses of vintage Hollywood, this dress is a revival of all things unapologetically feminine. Think Studio 54 meets red carpet scandal—where every sultry step leaves an imprint of power and allure.
Its ruched bodice cups me just enough to tease, while the exposed sides and barely-there back whisper touch me if you dare. The deep neckline plunges past the point of return. I’m not just wearing a dress—I’m setting the rules of the game.
✨ Fatpack HUD includes 22 intoxicating shades—from deep Bordeaux and sultry espresso to nude blush and dangerous obsidian. Color your intentions accordingly.

Red Arrows Display Team Full Line Up
The Red Arrows, officially known as the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team, is the aerobatics display team of the Royal Air Force based at RAF Scampton. The team was formed in late 1964 as an all-RAF team, replacing a number of unofficial teams that had been sponsored by RAF commands.
The Red Arrows badge shows the aircraft in their trademark diamond nine formation, with the motto Éclat, a French word meaning "brilliance" or "excellence".
Initially, they were equipped with seven Folland Gnat trainers inherited from the RAF Yellowjacks display team. This aircraft was chosen because it was less expensive to operate than front-line fighters. In their first season, they flew at 65 shows across Europe. In 1966, the team was increased to nine members, enabling them to develop their Diamond Nine formation. In late 1979, they switched to the BAE Hawk trainer. The Red Arrows have performed over 4,600 displays in 56 countries worldwide.

Comments: It is a critical part of the RAF's effort to modernise its surveillance and control capabilities following the retirement of the E-3D Sentry fleet.
The E-7 Wedgetail provides 360-degree aerial and maritime surveillance, battle management, and command and control, utilizing a Northrop Grumman Multi-role Electronically Scanned Array (MESA) radar.

Old school Cylon cosplay at the recent Houston Comicpalooza. This guy was wearing what was supposed to be an actual prop costume from the original Battlestar Galactica show. It was low budget and campy, but for those of us in a scifi drought after Star Wars, it was awesome!
