Fall colours were never so beautiful, with bright red, yellow, orange and purple leaves and even few green ones.
Saw this beautiful shrub (forgotten the name) and had to get a photo to show you.
Won't be around much tomorrow we are going to Westonbirt Arboretum with my brother...this time of year it is supposed to be spectacular there for the autumn colours, fingers crossed it will be a good day for photography...

OK so it didn't really look like that - occasionally I just love playing with the curves adjustments on my images and as a general rule I'll pull the curves all over the place to learn a little about what they do.
Well I was doing precisely that right here and.. thought that I'd share an in process shot as a finished result. You guys will vote with your clicks ;-)

The kids craft kit I got a while ago contained four 'threading laces' for running through buttons or cotton reels, or similar, but I decided instead to use them to make scoubidous - something I haven't seen since I was at school...
The colours of Istanbul. fantastic shades of the rainbow reflected in the painting of the apartments overlooking the Bosphorus.
We had a wrap around balcony on the apartment which was perfect for a tripod and taking pictures at all times of the day and night!
A two panel mosaic of the nebulous region around the star, Sadr in the constellation Cygnus. Instead of selectively editing the colours to be the mainstream Hubble palette, I let them run wild. Imaged over 11 nights in August of 2022 from Vancouver, Canada. Bortle 8/9 zone.

It was bloody hard to choose which pictures I was going to publish from this wonderful day in Kew Gardens, I'm in love with everything there: the flowers, the colours, the light...
