Whilst out walking, one night, through Karijini National Park, I spotted two trees sitting on a small hill...I loved the look of them against the colours of the sunset.
This little guy caught my attention as it flew past my head. I've never seen a bug quite like this it. I love anything with that metallic colour changing sheen, and the black wings make it all the more bad ass. The low lighting and the moving branch made it really hard to get a decent shot before it took off. This is the best I could do, cranking up the iso. Anyone know what this thing is?
