Aislarnos tras el miedo a no encontrar hogar. Tan irónico como triste. Como si la tenue luz de la luna se fundiera con la noche por temor a que el Sol realmente quemara.

Its been a long time since I had uploaded anything on flickr....and that is not good. I am addicted :) . Had been down with conjunctivitis ( the worst type of infection ever known to human kind) cant do anything..had to sit at home for 4 days...such a waste.

This picture has been captured by Smita, who very humbly says " mala macro capture karta yet nahi'.Well by the looks of it..you can.

Let me know what you guys think....

Oh by the way I AM BACK. :D

so funny.. and it's called the "Mr. Pee-wee", obviously for kids

I managed to get out with the camera the other afternoon, trying to get some autumn shots before the leaves disappear. The light over that last two weeks as been terrible, very dull but with flashes of beautiful light-I'm always at work or the wrong place as is usually the case. I popped up to Marsden, around Tunnel End. No filters just straight shots. At teatime , after work I legged it to Wessenden Head, up West Nab -one photo, just one! and the sun slipped behind a cloud never to be seen again - not that night anyway. I met Chris Nickerson on West Nab. We had never met before and stood for ages as darkness fell talking photography and road cycling.Occasionally taking a photo.Chris has some nice stuff on Flickr. We had almost the same kit with us.

I stayed until total darkness, taking photos when it was that dark I couldn't see the image in the wiewfinder. Digital sensors amaze me, the images look like they were taken in much lighter conditions. the giveaway is that the lights are all on in the distance. The morning after I went out early chasing some autumn sunrise photos. I went to South Crosland but |I was too early - can you be too early? I nipped back to work and unlocked and then went back to Helme Edge and set the tripod up - me with a tripod twice in 12 hours!- and waites fpr the sun to light Helme-and the steeple of the church I was married in. I nipped back to work but passing Blackmoorfoot Res' I saw some amazing light on the trees, I cuoldn't stop because of the rush hour traffic so reported into the girls in the office and shot back out for 15 minutes. I had to climb down to the waters edge but it was worth it.

It looks like a child full of halloween candy has vomited on its shoes.

The Common Bird's-foot-trefoil (Latin name: Lotus corniculatus) flowers are yellow, but when in buds and just opened they colour changed from red to orange and then turn yellow. Elliott (Swift's Hill) Wildlife Trust Nature Reserve. Slad Valley near Stroud, Gloucestershire, England

I picked these up while walking. The weather has cooled off a lot here and while the days are sunny, the nights are cold.

Sydney Opera House lit up for the last nights of the Vivid Festival

In the backdrop of the Surajkund lake, during the spring season, every year from February 1–15, a colorful traditional craft festival of India is held in the precincts of Surajkund. This fair was first started in 1987. Traditional craftsman (artists, painters, weavers and sculptors) from all parts of the country participate in this annual celebration named as the “Surajkund Crafts Mela” or "Surajkund designer’s Village”. Designer items created by 50 best designers and craftsmen in wood, metal, bamboo, iron, glass, textiles and stone can be seen here. This Mela (fair) is visited by lovers of arts and crafts from all over the world. The fair is held with a different theme every year on Indian culture and crafts.

The theme, specific to a state of India, is depicted at the entrance to the Mela grounds and provides an ambience of that particular state with characteristic colors, materials, architecture, furniture and decorations. The crafts on display in the stalls (400) is of particular crafts of that state. The Mela also includes a food festival covering some of the popular cuisines from different parts of the country. Entertainment in the form of famous rhythms and dance of folk theatre are also held here during the festival

During 2009, with Madhya Pradesh as the theme state, 50 crafts' persons from SAARC countries, Thailand and Egypt also participated in the Mela. The show was titled "Hemvati-Khajuraho" as a part of the 23rd annual Surajkund Crafts Fair event. Sanchi Stupa, (a world heritage site in Madhya Pradesh) formed the backdrop for the festival.

Commentary.

No-one talks of fjords in Scotland.

Here, they are known as sea-lochs.

There could be regarded as up to fourteen “fjords” in Scotland and two or three former fjords, cut off from the sea since previous Ice Ages.

Some are a mere three miles long, several 15-20 miles long

and one, Loch Fyne, up to fifty miles long.

Loch Leven is one such fjord or sea-loch.

It is sumptuously beautiful, colourful, ancient and wooded.

All the sea-lochs are sufficiently varied to deserve

multiple visits and endless awe and wonder.

In this image the mountain range known as Beinn a Bheithir

forms a backcloth to Loch Leven, where it narrows and is bridged, at Ballachulish.

Sgorr Dearg and Sgorr Dhonnuill are linked by a horseshoe arete that is often completed as one climb.

The Pap of Glencoe, left, is a peak that always catches the eye.

Autumn often enriches the colour, textures and tones

of such sea-lochs as Leven, making it spectacularly impressive.

The shapely mountains often reflect in its calm waters

and add a gleaming symmetry to a superb landscape.

To brighten up your day..

Ever so slightly.
