These are 48 separate images I worked on a few years ago and have tried to market as a series, a set, a collection. I haven't quite yet sold anyone on my concept (see catches-the-light.com/abstractart/index.html or my blogspot) but I have sold some of the individual images and have made a portfolio to approach a big time local gallery with the set as well as my paintings. I'm starting to take more photos for a new set of "not so abstract" abstracts for 2010.

Playing with Gibby Frogett kits "Brave" & "Collage Collection"

Kkkkk

Doing some downsizing and reorganizing (even though I've concluded I need two more large shelves. The Wolfs are temporarily moved to my wall shelf and are overcrowing i mightily. My sigs/swims/CaMs are on my big shelf but I'm soon gonna hadta move the swim dolls. I cleared off my media tower for EAH dolls and my dedicated book shelf has my DTs on top, Rangerettes hanging out and probably where my wizards will reside

I love collecting Japanese candy tins although I don't have too many I cant wait to collect more .....

One of the few photos with the short-lived summer theatre in it, just in front of the Building of the Olympians (right background). There seem to have been several temporary summer theatres in this area prior to the construction of Zappeion.

This is my FZ collection (just the CD's and two music DVD's) I also have "some" records and DVD's and books. Although I don't listen to the CD's a lot I try to keep the collection more or less complete (just missing "the best of" and "cheap thrills" I think, but I'm not very interested in those compilations) If I miss something, please notify me. (I did get the Lumpy Money box, and the Torture Never stops dvd, they are not on this picture as it was taken earlier) As you can see, the top three rows consist merely of "beat the boots" and some other bootlegs. I don't have the intention to make those complete...

So this is my current collection of slippers. It's been steadily growing for a while now, and while some pairs are too worn out to wear, most of them are still worn. Thought i'd upload a new shot since I have a few new additions. Running from left to right, and starting at the top;

1. ThinkGeek Heated Smore Slippers – I bought these for the winter, since they are USB heated, and were perfect for the really cold nights. Never really wore these around the house since they are a little small, but they were perfect for keeping my feet warm and toasty while I was lazing around on the laptop or PS4.

2. Coolers Slipper Boots – These are probably the 6th or 7th pair of these I have bought. They are perfectly lined with faux fur and have incredibly durable rubber soles, which makes them perfect for all-round use. These are usually what I slip on when I am tired or just not bothered about what's on my feet. Also good for wearing with socks a foot cream after a bath or shower.

3. ThinkGeek Robot Slippers – These are by far the most comfortable slippers I have ever bought. They can be really tricky to walk in, since they are so massive, but they are off the charts comfy. They have a fleece lining, and uber thick soles. They do have an electronic sound feature but I never use it. A friend of mine suggested using big thick car sponges to increase the thickness of the soles and prolong the life of my slippers, and they work so well in these. I don't tend to wear them too often lately, but they have lasted a long time, and will always be a favourite.

4. Next Bear Slippers – One of the spare pairs I bought over christmas and put away. Nice a comfy, though not amazing roomy. This is another pair I modified the soles with car sponges, as the soles on these are pretty thin. Haven't really worn these much, good for a backup pair.

5. Happy Feet White Tiger Slippers – These are something I have wanted or a long time and finally bought. Only got them today, and already a favourite. Very thick soles and very comfy, will pretty soon be almost permanently on my feet.

6. Happy Feet Tiger Slippers – Just like the White Tigers, these are the normal coloured variation. Absolutely loving these right now, got that new slipper feel.

7. Next Polar Bear Slippers – Another spare pair I bought over christmas. Just like the Bear Sippers, I added car sponges to these to increase the thickness and comfort of the soles, to bring them in line with the Happy Feet slippers and the Robot Boot Slippers. These are currently my most commonly worn pair.

8. Old eBay Claw Slippers – I only really keep these around due to habit. Bought these a long long time ago from eBay and never got around to wearing them. The soles aren't that great, and these were before the sponges made an appearance. I'll probably keep them hanging around until I decide to do something with them. I'm toying with the idea of making my own thick spongy soles and using a spray on rubber to make the soles more durable, which should drastically improve the lifespan of my slippers. These will probably be the test pair I use.

9. Happy Feet Miama Heat Sneaker Slippers – These were the first pair of Happy Feet slippers I bought, and were an instant favourite. I don't support Miami Heat, not even entirely sure what sport they play, I just preferred this colour combination than the others. They were my primary pair for a good few months before the soles wore out, now they are mostly for show, not really much use for them. Will probably replace them at some point.

10. Bedroom Athletics Fleece Lined Slippers – This pair was something I found one night on eBay and just really wanted. The lining is so so soft and feels so great on my soft soles. I haven't worn them a massive amount, but they are perfect for quick dog walks down the street.

11. Happy Feet Flip Flop Slippers – Another pair I bought on a whim. I got these last year for wear during the summer. All the thick spongy comfort of Happy Feet Slippers without the added decoration. These were great during the really hot summer months when it was far too hot for anything else.

I don't doubt my collection will continue to grow. I usually put some money aside for Christmas when most of the shops in town stock up on novelty slippers. I also have my eye on a few new pairs; some Godzilla slippers, Happy Feet Wolf Heads , and maybe some new Sneaker Slippers.
