For over 50 years the San Diego Air & Space Museum (SDASM) www.sandiegoairandspace.org , has preserved the aviation heritage of San Diego and the world, through a unique collection documenting the history of aviation from the dawn of flight to space exploration. Established in 1961, SDASM is one of the largest aviation museums in the nation, housing the third largest aerospace library and archives. The Museum showcases the history of and contributions to society provided by the development and advancement of air and space technology. The Museum experience provides a means for the public to gain a greater understanding of current and projected aerospace efforts that play such a key role in the national economy, our position in a technical and competitive world, and mankind's future exploration. PERSONAL FUN FACT: The Decor Collection uses preexisting Barbie sets in bright color schemes. This bedroom was originally for the 2002 Living In Style range. Colleen had that set when we were growing up. Naturally, I recognized these pieces straight away when we found them. Back in the spring of 2015, I noted what looked to be a doll house on the side of the road. I was on my way to pick my sister up at work, so I didn't have the chance to investigate. I mentioned it to Colleen when we were returning home. She walked over to the neighbor's house to see if there were any goodies in their pile of free stuff. Lo and behold, she found the mother load of dolls and playsets. We dubbed this the "Free Friday Finds Lot." That's where this Decor Collection Bedroom Playset originated from. I would have assumed it was a color variation of the Living In Style one. However, I had familiarized myself with the Decor Collection while doing research online in years past. So I knew this was in fact a different set. As it turned out, most of the smaller components were still there! I should say that this set isn't 100% identical in terms of contents to the Living In Style one. The wardrobe is smaller. Instead of having the two additional side pieces, this one only has the center portion (which is the largest compartment). It also came with fabric bedding, which the 2002 Living In Style one was not packaged with, As much as I am nostalgic for the 2002 set, I have to admit that I prefer this one's vibrant, fun color scheme! There are different color variations of this set (see my chair comparison for reference).

Huge 500 + doll collection given by Robert & Carol Kern and Mary Lee & Barr Ewing to the Dr, Hector Garcia Memorial Library in Mercedes, Texas. Mostly small dolls from many countries focusing on native costumes.The oldest doll is from the 1890's. Many souvenir type dolls often sold to tourists. Sept. 2022

I'm still playing Tales of Xillia the first one, so 2 is still in its packaging, and I've played through and beaten Tales of Graces f. It is my fav tales game so far. Notice how i have 2 Graces games. One is the english adaption, and the other is a magical Japanese copy i found at a Half priced books. I haven't played it yet but as i've beated the first one and i can fairly read japanese rather well depending on complex kanji used...i could prob get through it. I'm still trying to finish the first Xillia so not going to play the jap graces just yet.
