Enough Plumb hammers to present as a set. The one third from left is called "Plumb Ugly" fitting title. Another once proud American made brand, long ago off shored!
My friend, Gerrie, has such a wonderful way of displaying her "found treasures". She is always bringing me back rocks, seedpods, sticks from her travels. Twins, separated at birth. Although, she got the "decorator gene" because she has the knack of putting it all together and making it look like a work of art.
Card Text (transcribed from postcard): This beautiful burial plot occupies a commanding height overlooking the 'Davis Section.' It is owned and maintained by the Richmond Lodge B.P.O.E. As in life, so in depth, members of this benevolent order are tenderly cared for. The granite column to the right marks the 'resting place' of General Fitzhugh Lee.

Abandoned places are often covered in graffitis. In my opinion, most of the time, it's giving a new life to the building. Instead of just being left to rot, some people (artists) spend hours, days making the place a museum of art.
Here are some collections of graffitis I saw and photographed during my explorations. Most of those are located in France.
I don't necessarily know the name of the artists so there are no names at all, I just want to share this with the people who will probably never see it!
I hope you will enjoy it :)
This one is to celebrate that it's only four more sleeps until we go to LA. Getting excited about having a holiday but the 15 hours plus to get there is a little sobering...

All vintage except the two bendies on the left dated 1995. The black one is from the GI Joe set called "Eight Ropes of Danger". The bottom center one is from the 1979 - 1983 Fisher-Price Aero-Marine Search Team set. The top center creature with the more-than-eight tentacles and trunk was added 'cause he felt left out.
The back of the card is dated 1888. This quite elderly widow is dressed in fashions that are at least 30 years out of date, if not more. It was not unusual until just recently for older women to remain clung fast to the style of clothing they wore in their prime.
