one from the garden, i think this one spent a little too long chilling out as there was a pile of feathers on the lawn the next day.
Photographed at Marina Carmoli Mar Manor Spain (only my 3rd sighting in Spain)

We see them trying to find a place for a new nest last week and then they started to build here and following day she was sitting tight down on the new nest and then yesterday our old Pigeon's are now back in there nest about 4 feet above this nest so we might get some new photos of babies in there nests now
This is one of the pair that have made our garden their restaurant! When it’s time for food one or the other of them flies to the window to let us know. If I’m in the kitchen it will sit on the sill walking up and down until I go out lol. Beautiful gentle birds that have me well trained 😂
Photographiées à travers la clôture, d'où les stries
Photographed through the fence, hence the stripes
The driver spotted these two sleeping beauties on our way out of Ranthambore national park. Not a great quality image but the best I have.
Doves are a year round symbol of peace but also a romantic Valentines Day staple of love.
Happy Valentines Day!
The weather and in particular the high gusty winds have me confined to barracks today, but I managed to pinch a few cheeky garden shots :-)
very satisfying, ox tail cooked all day in the oven with black eye peas, rice, and collard greens. Vincent's Soul Food, Sunnyvale, TX. Fujifilm X-A1 and XC16-50.
Another capture here of this very rare visitor to our shores, and the first seen here at Lakenheath fen. It hunts the skies for insects ,including Dragonflies much like a swift, and can cover a huge area in no time. A joy to watch, albeit mostly from afar. A Black winged Pratincole was around the North east last week, and one of these stayed at Minsmere for a few weeks last year, so fingers crossed.
