Happy Thanksgiving to all my contacts, their families, and anyone viewing.

Despite killing frosts and low temperatures, this Petunia in my front garden refuses to give up and say "I'm done" after all the other summer flowers have shriveled up and died from the cold, this petunia has decided to offer another round of flowers. To me, this surely says Spring is coming, and we have a lot to be thankful for.

Enjoy the holiday everyone.

Again I went to explore some more of Kampinos National Park in Poland. I got lucky because it was sunny again!

Our temperatures have been much colder than usual here, so I figured things wouldn’t be doing as well as they should be. Usually our temperatures in December are in the 30′s. This December our temperatures have been in the 20′s and the teens. The days have also been very cloudy, which doesn’t help warm up the low tunnels.

I have 2 different varieties of spinach growing in my low tunnel ‘Catalina’ and ‘Giant Winter’. So far they both seem to be doing well, I think the ‘Catalina’ might be doing slightly better. We’ll see which variety starts producing faster when it warms in the spring.

Low dark clouds, cold temperatures, and high winds prevailed on a raw day. Nothing coming out of the Trench.

Weather at the Carnival makes this woman shiver in discomfort. Her man looks warm and happy, though.

....despite the sun & blue sky but I was reasonably "toasty" wearing plenty of layers!!

Finally! spent a couple of hours hiking through the local woods, down to the shore and back through the forest. The light was simply magnificent and the snow clung to everything. Just glorious!

I'll be all in your streams a bit later. I'm cooking dinner just now.

you simply must!

View of Hanbury Hall, Worcestershire as seen from the parterre. Not a lot of colour in the garden as yet as, despite being taken in late March the British weather was still in the freezing depths of Winter!
