It's feeling cold out today. These sandals are on snow now but soon these sandals will be walking on sand. I am leaving for Mexico this afternoon. So I will be absent for a week...
Cold is the colour of crystal the snowlight
That falls from the heavenly skies
Catch me and let me dive under
For I want to swim in the pools of your eyes

I immediately thought of the My Utopia group as I spotted this on the menu - and as I settled into my chair and took a long refreshing drink of cold water after a day in a stuffy meeting room!
A cold drink of Fosters lager on a hot summers day.
Actually it was a grey, damp, cold, foggy day, and this picture was taken inside, and thats a ceiling light above. .

It is such a cold rainy miserable day in our part of the world today. This precious little pine siskin is huddled under some Roddie (Rhododendron) leaves just in-front of my window in an effort to escape the rain.
FootNote: this little bird arrived at my feeder several weeks back and appeared to be somewhat ill. The day was very warm yet it had its feathers all fluffed out as if it was cold. It just sat at one of the feeders all day long, this lasted for several days.
Today however, it is happy and seems content as it comes and goes to who knows where, who knows where? Although it does like to hang around the feeders almost as much as my three little chickadee friends.
I really like the lines and sparks from this roman candle. I might do a edit just because I can! :-)
My and some friends decided to venture out into the cold tonight. This is 1 pic that came from the set. Just added my name other than that SOOC.

Tylenol Sinus, Halls Throat Lozenges and my trusty Life Factory bottle full of tea were my saviours on a 15hr trip from Ottawa to Hawaii with no voice and a head cold.
** not the best photo... but all I could muster after the trek.
My feet are so so cold! I'm running really low on socks (have to do laundry!) so I just found the two warmest socks that I had left and put them on. I really don't care that they don't match!
So how come Gavin and Stacey never came here? I loves it I does!
It is a pebble beach on the coast. It regularly attracts visitors during the summer months. It is located a few miles west of the sandy beach of Barry Island. It was founded by the Romans who used it as a port. Cold Knap lake is an attractive location. The area has a skate park.
There used to be an outdoor swimming pool that was used extensively for years by young and old alike, then the authorities decided to close it, it was filled in and the area has now been turned into a tourist trail.
