ZAANDAM - Burgemeester In 't Veld park. Largest city park in the municipality (21 acres) was created in the fifties of the twentieth century. Owes its name to Joris in 't Veld (1895-1981), Mayor of Zaandam from 1937-1948. In the park is also a 2-acre botanical garden.

January is very cold when the sun begins to go down, and even more so when the north winds are blowing....
There is never really cold in Florida but it was close to freezing temperatures that evening - you can see fishermen bundled up!
