Wythenshawe beats the cold with more than a touch of mud, quite a bit of frost, but shedloads of fun and enthusiasm. Thank you Wythenshawe parkrun and your wonderful volunteers!

Feb. 23 - Cold
(I SO hated that I had to post all these late- they were taken on the right days but our outage messed me up with posting anything! ACK! So Sorry, Guys!)
Another cold fall night. Post processing with GIMP using 3 images stacked and blended then converted to black and white.
Taken in Bangladesh. It was really cold. When I was taking picture they got so excited.
Imagine how much we whine if the heat goes out for one day
When exposed objects on the ground become colder than the surrounding air, ice crystals can be deposited on them creating hoar frost. The effect on an entire tree after the sun comes up is stunning.

charged to protect
it wrapped it's cold embrace
around the edge of it's domain.
Nothing would enter,
nothing would deface,
without breaking the seige that held it's reign.
I met Angela through Model Mayhem and she was everything she claimed to be. Fun, adventurous, and comfortable in front of the camera. She said she was new to this but I doubt that - she was so easy to shoot with. As with all my first time shoots we picked an outdoor location and lucked out with good weather. I can't wait for the follow on shoots!

Stupid flat-mate gave me a cold, and after I brought her home a chocolate. You know what else, another of the flat-mates went to teh races yesterday and spent all my pocket money ... I've had it with those guys, does anyone need a pig

I find this photo very cold,
because of the cold tones,
and the expression on esmee's face.
I also like the focus and the depth of field in this.
It could be the lab rat in me... the clean sterile look to it all has its appeal.
I was just walking down Via Vittor Pisani towards Repubblica (and all the other interesting parts south of the station) and saw a home renonvation/designer show room. I took a couple images from the outside window for my own interests.
