Returning to this captivating spot along the Asturian coast was a long-awaited endeavor. The timing was almost right, with the tides aligning for a chance to get up close and personal with the colossal rock formation and its impressive twin holes during the sunset.
Though the receding tide didn't grant me full access to the desired vantage point, and the tranquil sea posed a challenge in capturing my preferred water textures, the allure of the location remained undeniable. I managed to freeze a moment in time as a wave nearly engulfed the prominent foreground rocks, showcasing the raw power of the ocean.
The light conditions may not have been ideal, and the sky wore a muted hue, but patience was my ally. As the day transitioned into the mystical blue hour, a cold and serene atmosphere descended upon the scene, adding a touch of ethereal charm to the already mesmerizing landscape.
While challenges may have tempered my vision, the essence of this coastal wonder remains untamed and resplendent. Every visit brings something new and a reminder of nature's awe-inspiring forces.
waves striking straight from the pacific ocean.. thats really cold water :)
perfect day (:
explored!
hehe my first one :B
Second shot from yesterdays trip to Hurworth Burn. Liked the cold frosty stone and bank, contrasted with the warm background glow as the sun rose.
These were built during our first spring in Montana, 1997. They've been out of use for nearly 10 years now and they're a little worse for wear and all the glass panes have broken out of them in wind storms. Plastic works just fine, too but just doesn't look as nice.
Los colores de la naturaleza siempre me han dejado atĂłnito, aunque solo las mujeres saben nombrarlos todos, jajaja!.
I knew it was quite windy on the Carn, but this visit was the coldest I have ever had, there was a damp misty haze in the air and bitterly cold wind, but worth it I think!

While waiting for my car to warm up I shot a few photos from within my car with my iPhone. The day was brutally cold and the wind pierced through your body but that sunrise was gorgeous.
My intent was to capture the birds sitting motionless atop the branches as the snow began collecting on the ground below. But in an instant, as if by sight of an approaching and ominous presence, they fled in unison north. From afar, they looked like leaves drifting against the snow.
A cold day is always a good day right? Hahahah
I'm feeling a certain romance with my new sweater <3

The temperature was -4 this morning. As i made it to work like an ice cube, Big Lemon K779 DAO is seen parked on the wash bay ready for someone brave enough to get out there and wash it.
Even though its look clean, the boss likes them sparkling. 779 will later today be going out on a private hire before it heads for storage at the end of the month until the summer.

Had run out of Acros, so went into my TMY2 stock and used the Rodinal to Xtol schema. The combo of an old and new developer with this square grain film seemed to work out well. It doesn't have the same tonality as Acros, but the versatility is higher. The grain is quite impressive, as is the accutance, particularly with a 400 speed film. A very happy day to my fellow impressive flickeranians.
