Now that I'm sitting here, thinking it through- I've never been anywhere cold as you.
Isabella came over for about ten minutes today while I worked on Sparks Fly. I'm hoping it will be done in about a week, but we'll see. Still got homework to do. :( Oh well.
Paseo por el centro de Rancagua , calle del Estado (Arteria urbana que cruza la ciudad) me topo con esta particular decoración de un restaurante con sus mesas en la calle, siendo bastante atractivo a la vista casual.
Sun rising over a cell tower in ice fog. Air temperature was -37C and the wind chill was -44C. And no, I did not take this from outside.
Taking a walk and I saw this guy without a wet suit, quite far out in the river happily swimming. I spoke to him briefly and told him he was a brave soul. It was about 50 degrees, windy and the water no more than 50 degrees. I had a coat on…lol
I always love it when snow hits our town. It snowed all of Sunday and I was unable to get out to take pictures so I made a quick stop off on the way to work this morning.

WEEK 3 – Oxford Walmart, Post-Remodel (II)
Where previously this department only received one sign – a catch-all simply titled “Beverages” – Black Décor 2.1's perimeter-hugging department signs allow for an additional department sign here now, this one placed on the left side of the alcove and titled “Cold Beer.” I wonder how many of my fellow Ole Miss students frequent this department :P
I did find it interesting here how the beer coolers themselves are inset into the wall, meaning they must be stocked from the same room as milk.

These places are public so these photos are too, but just as I tell where they came from, I'd appreciate if you'd say who :)
This was during a pretty cold period mid January, the sunset was about to be done soon and picked up a bit of orange in addition to the yellow.
The initial spherical panorama consists of 11 images but in order to retain the highlights in the sky I did some exposure bracketing (-3EV and 0EV), resulting in a total of 22 photos. (28 actually, I did some duplicates with myself in it too.)
The standard equirectangular projection produced a resolution of 14944 x 7472px (~111,7MP). This is my first interactive spherical panorama on Flickr :)

The cold waters of the Yukon River flow through the centre of Whitehorse on a winter morning in December. The sun had not yet risen and blue hour was in full swing when I took this.
Cool stuff, dude. Don't know what to write really. I've been slagging of with photography since the 366 project ended.
I've been thinking about doing more portraits and such, because I'm getting more and more fed up with nature and landscapes..
It was a cold late fall day and I came upon this strange plant. Took a number of photos of it, but had to add saturation and color to add interest. I suppose if I were a better photographer that wouldn't be necessary, but thats another story. Someday.....I'll go back in summer and take a flowering picture of it that won't need Photoshop. But I'll bet it won't be blue.
January 1st 2008 was the annual Courage Brothers' Polar Bear Dip. This years event had over 400 "polar bears" and raised more than $59,000... WOW!!!
The dippers were allowed to run out as far as the fire fighter with the orange vest, then run back onto shore. Brrrrr!!!
What a great event this was. The money raised, goes to World Vision to help with water projects in Sudan
You can see more photos and video by clicking here...
World Vision can be found here... www.worldvision.ca
I had a MEDIA PASS for this event so I have many more pictures to post from this event, stay tuned.....

Cold pickeled cauliflower, carrots, jalapeños, habaneros with scallions and garlic. A couple days at room temp, then chill.
They actually get better in about a week, but who can wait?
a peaceful village on the north Atlantic coast. All shots taken this afternoon.
