Ok, let me get one thing straight. I'm not a pervert.
But I AM curious, and I am intrigued. Japanese girls seem to be really hardy. It doesn't matter if it's Tokyo in the summer, or Hokkaido in the winter, but Japanese girls seem to be able to wear skirts any time of the year, no matter how cold it is.
And then I start to feel sorry for them, because these girls have to wear these clothes as a school uniform, and they must be freezing all day long! This was a really cold day in early January in Yokohama, you can't see me but suffice to say, I was wrapped up warm with scarf and gloves. What do you all think? Are these girls crazy for not wearing tights, or is it just me?!

Japan introduced school uniforms in the late 19th century. Today, school uniforms are almost universal in the Japanese public and private school systems. They are also used in some women's colleges. The Japanese word for this type of uniform is seifuku (制服).
Various schools are known for their particular uniforms. Uniforms can have a nostalgic characteristic for former students, and is often associated with relatively carefree youth. Uniforms are sometimes modified by students as a means of exhibiting individualism, including lengthening or shortening the skirt, removing the ribbon, hiding patches or badges under the collar, etc. In past decades, brightly coloured variants of the sailor outfit were also adopted by Japanese yankee and Bōsōzoku biker gangs.
Because school uniforms are a popular fetish item, second-hand sailor outfits and other items of school wear are brokered through underground establishments known as burusera, although changes to Japanese law have made such practices difficult. The pop group Onyanko Club had a provocative song called "Don't Strip Off the Sailor Suit!" Sailor outfits, along with other styles of school uniform, play an undeniably large role in otaku culture and the Japanese sexual canon as evidenced by the large amount of anime, manga, and dōjinshi featuring characters in uniform, Sailor Moon being one of the most popular examples.
The weather was cold (-7C) and very foggy when with my son we visited my favorite tree in the Vértes area. Let it be my first upload of the new year.

We finally got a dusting of snow late yesterday afternoon. Went to the nearest park to find these guys looking cold and hungry. Next time I'll bring some bread for them !

The top of Huashan was in fog. I was walking from peak to peak and every peak gave me the same view. Fog. Dense wall of cold fog shrouded mountains.
I spent a night on a bench wrapped in my sleeping bag. When I woke up I found that it was snowing. Grudgingly I forced myself to get up, but nothing changed outside. Still fog. But now there is also snow.

Origin
The wine was invented by Harold Borgman, the owner of Pontchartrain Wine Cellars in Detroit, in 1937. The recipe was based on a traditional German custom of mixing all the dregs of unfinished wine bottles with champagne.
The wine he produced was given the name Kaltes Ende ("cold end" in German), until it was humorously altered to the similar sounding term Kalte Ente meaning "cold duck" .
The exact recipe now varies, but the original combined one part of Californian red wine with two parts of New York sparkling wine.

This summer, I embraced the crop top for pairing with higher waisted bottoms. I didn’t think about how cold that exposed skin would feel in the winter.
For my last day in Anaheim, I started the day in an outfit that left me cold in the middle. Before my evening flight, I changed back into the outfit I wore for my flight a few days prior.
