I made some experiments with different kinds of material. This here is out of iron mesh, hard to fold, but worth it (26cm x 15 cm x 5cm)
I captured this image for two reasons. One, for the dedication of the employee sitting in the bitter cold to welcome guests to Colonial Williamsburg and the Governor Mansion.
Two, For the sign that reads Cold Drinks. I don't believe there where cold drinks during this time unless they came out of a cellar. Trust me, I've had drinks that came out of a cellar and they are not very cold. Ha. Ha.
Day 339 [12-4-2016]
Getting better. So today I am feeling a little better. Still gross and stuffed up but I am recovering quickly. I had a nice lunch and walk with Paul around midday before dropping him off for family stuff and heading out with George. We took some photos and drove around as Scott met up with us later in the night and we took some long exposures. I did something today that I don't have a photo to show for but I feel is important to document. I stepped foot on a skateboard for the first time since the incident. It was nice. I still have my balance and it doesn't seem as scary to me as it did for that time during recovery. I want to get away from that fear that has been getting to me and I am working up to that. I know some people might find it stupid and I understand that. I just can't let myself be scared anymore. I don't want to lay in my bed at night not able to sleep because I am thinking about all of the hills that I have skated down. I need to overcome those new fears. That is what I am going to do.
I can't wait for what the next day brings!

C&C welcomed and appreciated.

The Canadian Museum of Science and Technology will be removing two of its iconic lawn displays for safety reasons.
The Atlas Rocket and oil pumpjack have been a part of the museum for more than 40 years, but are deteriorating and must be dismantled.
"Both have weathered the elements for 40 years," said Olivier Bouffard, spokesman for the museum. "The decision to remove them has come down to safety."
Macro Mondays' theme this week is Hot/Cold. I found the tiniest VERY hot pepper I could- and Look what it is doing to this ice cube!!!
I saw this dandelion in the end of october, and I´m sure it must be the last one this year. The seeds was filled with ice drops which looked like diamonds.
Today was one of the coldest day this winter. I'm feeling down, and a little sad. I want a day just for sleeping in and forgetting the world. At the same time, sleeping is such a waste of time, and I've wasted most of my life.
The cold isn’t just on the surface—it’s a memory, one that seeps into my bones and refuses to leave. It whispers of losses I can’t articulate, of emptiness I cannot fill. Even wrapped in layers of warmth, it lingers, a shadow that clings to me.
