I recently picked up a Yashica FR-II that came with a ML 50mm f/1.7 (this photo taken with it) and it's far better than the cheap DSB 50mm f/1.9. The camera even worked perfectly...except I broke the circuit board trying to clean the viewfinder. But that's ok I only only $38 for the pair. The lens is worth double that.
added some texture.. Not so comfortable with uploading this one, cause I really don't like using textures.
When I was in Oxford back in the late sixties, I lived in Digs and from time to time when my landlady was not around she would leave a "cold dinner plate" in the larder for me. Always good! Confession -- this is not real ice but rather "prop ice" made of acrylic for use in photos and movie sets. For the Smile on Saturday challenge: "Presented on a Plate."

Captured at Mynydd y Gwair this evening after a day full of sunshine and showers. It was bitterly cold hence the caption.
On the cold winter eve of January 25, 2020, an eastbound BNSF freight crosses a frozen Trout Creek over Bridge 55 as night approaches over the Clark Fork Valley at Trout Creek, Montana.
My notes say midnight and yes it was cold along the riverfront in Windsor, Ontario as a pair of passenger units lay over for the night on 1-16-76. The 4016 was one of a pair (4017) of GP40's that CN had regeared for 92 mph to help in Toronto passenger service, we hated to get one leading preferring the cab units, they usually trailed a steam generator car.
CN L-594 drags 5 loads in tow from Keenan for Wales as they round the curve on a frigid -15F morning in Biwabik.

A Cold Sunrise
A cold morning a couple of weeks ago in the Moffat Valley just after sunrise. A hard frost in the valley as the sun lights up the distant hills.
