I am very glad to accomplish my new Artwork for this wonderful date, Valentines Day!
Please meet my "Ice Cream", I recently became huge fan (again!) of this delicious sweet treat despite our long cold weather outside. And this is actually what I want to wish you all: no matter the weather and your habitat, Be Sweet and Loved!
Truly yours :)

The cold weather keeping me inside is good for baking. I'm not a genius in the kitchen but I'm so proud of these muffins/cupcakes.
I used the basic receipt and added 1 banana and nutella (hazelnut-chocolate-creme) to it. On top of the cream that are dried flowers with cinnamon and a bit sugar.

A walk to the beach begins with frost on cars, little drops of melted frost, a misty haze and bright sun, all in this series of shots taken at Kirkley and Pakefield in south Lowestoft. Also, they are all taken with a prime lens - no zoom.

The participants were introduced to the specialty unit “Mountain Cold Weather Company” through morning PT. MCW is one of the many specialty units Norwich has to offer for any rook or cadet willing to attempt and complete their indoctrination period, which starts in September and finishes in April. After completing the indoctrination period, also known as their “green stick” year, they are welcomed into the company. The company specializes in knot tying and mountaineering in all states of weather.

Lovely to wear these knee high boots with a skirt outfit in the colder weather, very practical and fashionable too.
Handsome the cat usually hibernates when it gets cold, but today he was watching as the world went by.
A Red fox's tail measures about a third of its length. In cold weather, it serves as a warm cover. It is also a signal flag in communicating with other foxes.
It is getting a liitle colder out, but you can still wear the mini's if you layer clothes on top of it. This outfit is perfect for a Saturday shopping trip to the mall & that's what I did do in this one!
Another post blizzard shot taken at the Olive Park overlook. This time I included unlike the previous shot: The Sun Shines After the Storm. Such a beautiful day. This guy had the same idea I did. This is another one entirely inspired by my fiance and my engagement shots taken by K. Holly Photography. She is amazing, if you are getting married in and around the midwest I would use her. We had several of our shots taken here and her use of the sun here inspired me. This is stitched from 4 handheld shots.
Enjoy and don't forget to check out my blog: Christopher.F Photography
The good thing about this photo is that I look pretty darn cute in this outfit.
The bad thing about it is that this particular day was unseasonably cold for late April in Madison.
But I still wore this outfit to a transgender-themed event being held outdoors. Which was next to a lake. Which had a stiff, bone-chilling breeze coming off it. Which made me chatter my teeth and jump in place in an effort to stay warm.
So, yeah, I should've worn a heavier jacket. But at least I swapped the headband for a winter hat and scarf before leaving home. And I did have a nice time. And I felt good allowing my feminine side to be seen.

This set includes a snowman, a gingerbread man, a polar bear and a penguin. All hand stitched and embroidered. No small parts to come off and get lost and no glue is used.
I can always tell when the first strong cold front is approaching

Outside dining has little appeal as the temps dropped. Newport on the Levee in Kentucky. Hopefully going to have a giant Ferris Wheel within the year.

English:
The raccoon, sometimes called the common raccoon to distinguish it from other species, is a medium-sized mammal native to North America. It is the largest of the procyonid family, having a body length of 40 to 70 cm (16 to 28 in), and a body weight of 5 to 26 kg (11 to 57 lb). Its grayish coat mostly consists of dense underfur, which insulates it against cold weather. Three of the raccoon's most distinctive features are its extremely dexterous front paws, its facial mask, and its ringed tail, which are themes in the mythologies of the indigenous peoples of the Americas relating to the animal. The raccoon is noted for its intelligence, as studies show that it is able to remember the solution to tasks for at least three years. It is usually nocturnal and omnivorous, eating about 40% invertebrates, 33% plants, and 27% vertebrates.
The original habitats of the raccoon are deciduous and mixed forests, but due to their adaptability, they have extended their range to mountainous areas, coastal marshes, and urban areas, where some homeowners consider them to be pests. As a result of escapes and deliberate introductions in the mid-20th century, raccoons are now also distributed across much of mainland Europe, the Caucasus, and Japan.
Though previously thought to be generally solitary, there is now evidence that raccoons engage in sex-specific social behavior. Related females often share a common area, while unrelated males live together in groups of up to four raccoons, in order to maintain their positions against foreign males during the mating season, and other potential invaders. Home range sizes vary anywhere from 3 hectares (7.4 acres) for females in cities, to 5,000 hectares (12,000 acres) for males in prairies. After a gestation period of about 65 days, two to five young, known as "kits", are born in spring. The kits are subsequently raised by their mother until dispersal in late fall. Although captive raccoons have been known to live over 20 years, their life expectancy in the wild is only 1.8 to 3.1 years. In many areas, hunting and vehicular injury are the two most common causes of death.

Bend, Ore. -- A group of 45 federal snow surveyors gathered in Bend Jan. 10 - 15, 2016 to train on measuring mountain snowpack and cold-weather survival. USDA's Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) hosts the Westwide Snow Survey training every year to support snow surveyors across 13 Western states.
“Often times our snow survey crews must traverse difficult mountain terrains to manually measure the snowpack in remote areas,” said Tony Tolsdorf, one of the organizers for this year’s training. “The Westwide Snow Survey training is absolutely essential to sustain our snow survey program. We ensure our people are prepared in the event of an emergency and keep them up-to-speed on the methods for measuring.”
Training topics included outdoor survival, mountain medicine, avalanche preparedness, a history of snow survey, shelter construction, methods of measurement, and more. Guest instructors included Brian Horner of Learn to Return Training based in Anchorage, Alaska and Nancy Pfeiffer of the Alaska Avalanche School also based in Anchorage.
Since its inception in 1935, USDA’s Snow Survey and Water Supply Forecasting Program has grown into a network of 1,185 manually-measured snow courses and 858 automated snow telemetry stations across 13 Western states, including Alaska. The program provides streamflow forecasts at 673 stream gages in the West. Data from the automated snow sites are available near real-time through an extensive web delivery system.
