Yeah, you heard me. Rattlesnake coffee mug. Craig Ferguson may have one, but I bought mine at the one and only Albuquerque Rattlesnake Museum.
It was my usual busy Friday, working both jobs, but even busier. No time to stop for a fence shot or any other shot for that matter. I got home really late from work and shot this. Then textured the crap out of it. It's festive, at any rate! I bought this set of mugs at Starbucks last year. And there wasn't coffee in the mug last night!! Hope everyone has a fun Halloween weekend!!

Handed down to me by my father who must have bought it in or around 1977 when it first hit the stores. I mentioned at some point recently, "Don't ever throw that thing out - you know I want it, right?" and shortly after she became mine. I drink from this thing every day at work. I love it.
Last week my Krups coffeepot died, and was replaced with this single cup coffeemaker. It's so much fun to use ! Needless to say, I've been drinking way too much coffee lately, LOL!!

She tries, even in her advanced age to warm to the taste of coffee, less expensive and less calories than the chai lattes she adores. Although, whether a chai or plain black coffee the curve of the porcelain mug fits the same in her age spotted hand.

Naturally Auroville is a good place to go to if you are looking for knick-knacks to do up your house with. You can get From paper lamps, earrings, leather sandals (very popular), coffee mugs, trays and furniture to quilts, durries, silk kaftans and the all-famous incense sticks here. Its bakery section is also very popular.

We're seeing The Dark Knight tomorrow, but I can't help thinking about the new X-Files movies out this week...because I looooved the X-Files something fierce.
Which reminds me....this coffee mug is 10 years old. Yes, ten.years.old. It's a cheesy thing I picked up at the International UFO Museum and Research Center in Roswell, New Mexico.
Roswell was the last stop on a summer independent study project I put together in undergraduate school, and which nobody thought I could get any of the professors to sponsor.
Short story: Me and three other people earned 5 credit hours for hunting UFOs.
