I couldn't decide which of these I liked better, but I was enjoying playing with the natural morning light coming through the window.

You spend most time

Trying to figure out

Why you can never figure out just what you're trying to figure out?

Spend more time living

You spend most time

Searching for the love that'll be searching for your love

You love to save your love for love

Spend more time loving

You spend most time

Talking 'bout yourself and how it matters to yourself

More than to anybody else

Spend more time listening

You spend most time

Judging everything as if you ever knew a thing

There's more to things than just one thing

Spend more time respecting

You spend most time

Worried 'bout what's to say about your silly little ways

Isn't that silly, anyway?

Spend more time flowing

You spend most time

Fussing, bluffing, hating all times

Bleeding

Oh My!

My cousin Monica is getting married in Kingston today. It should be a fun wedding! I prepare my drinking coffee without my lovely dress on (no spills) and listening to Andrew Bird.

I've been using my longer focal length lenses lately and loving it ^_^

ODC - METALLIC 1st–7th November 2025 - Love my new Grinch coffee mug that came with this neat little metal stir stick of a grinch that hangs on the mug!

Today will be a long day with several meetings and our big company Christmas party. No wonder I'm dressed up with my drak suit...

Before heading to the office I had a quick breakfast which Alex had prepared for me - just some cereals and a coffee. I couldn't survive a day without my morning coffee! (ask my colleagues)

And with this quick breakfast shot it is official - I am strange! I collect kitchen timer! See the shelf in the background? There are 2 rows with timers...

It started a looooong time ago, when I moved out of my parent's house and my first cooking experiments failed. They bought a kitchen timer. When the second cooking experiment failed they bought another one, then I saw a funny timer, then another and somehow.... you see the outcome!

What shall I say? Hi, my name is Anja and I'm collecting kitchen timers. :-)

I will use this coffee mug in the future and shoot pictures of it

I admit it: I have a bad coffee addiction. It actually more worse than my technology addiction. I spend more money on coffee and time in a coffee shop more than any other place I go.

I'm trying to cut back a little bit but giving up coffee isn't exactly an easy thing to do. I suppose I can be excused on a day like today. After all, today is the start of Daylight Saving Time.

...to bring out the warm winter coats, knitted scarves, leather gloves and warm ourselves with coffee & tea. Winter is my favorite time of year for so many reasons.

How do you take yours?

I was asked to design the 1999-2000 year MCAD promotional mug. These mugs are sent to all incoming students and given to friends of the college in general. With incoming students in mind (and based on my own MCAD experience), I played-up the "big city living" and "frozen North" aspects of MCAD life.

Found this at a really cute store I'd never been inside somewhere in Charlotte. It would look better with some coffee in it.

My daughter, who is now an official Oregonian, gave this mug to my husband for Christmas, along with 2 pounds of coffee--one of them named "Hairbender". I was almost scared to try that one because I was worried about getting hair on my chest. :) Anyway, when we visited Portland last Sept., she took us to Stumptown Coffee, a well-known coffee house. According to their web site: "We travel worldwide because we are committed to sourcing and roasting the best coffees available anywhere. Along the way, we search for partnerships with farms to share in a belief that working together year after year results in the highest level of quality." I love the diner feel to this mug...seemed vintage to me...so I gave the photo a vintage treatment in Lightroom.

Oodles of sea lions on a vintage stoneware mug. You an tell they are sea lions because you can see their cute little ears, seeee?

Just some of my coffee mug collection.

I think it was when I was putting together the desk that I wrenched my knee.

I'm stumped for a title. Suggestions?

I'm so happy to have found this last week!

I have been feeling slightly uninspired lately, so I came up with this idea to inspire myself. The inspiration of “1 week of black and white” came from 365 projects a lot of young photographers do.

I have yet to decide whether I can manage a 365 project, so I thought giving a week a go might be fun and to add a twist to it, it has to be black and white!

So, here’s my album for 1 week of black and white — one photograph in black and white per day.
