I think it dates from the 1920's. Or maybe it is even older.

The astronomical clock on the Heilbronn city hall was built in 1580. New works were built for the clock in 1896. The clock was destroyed in World War II, and the same company built new works after the war.

It's currently 9:30 am and I've just finished breakfast. I don't start college until 12 today , which means a nice lye in for me. Until yesterday , when my mom got me this and this morning was the first time I got to experience the rude awakening.
It's so stupidly loud , it's like Fireman Sam's team is under my bed or something.
Mom even got a 3 year warranty on it. Wise women , because IT WILL be thrown across the room at LEAST 40 times this year.

A stone clock tower stands prominently above the crenelated walls of this historic estate. The clock face displays the time while framed by a decorative stone crest set into the roofline. Lush green trees rise behind the building, contrasting with the weathered masonry of the surrounding fortifications.
Unusual for me to pick up a transistor set (this one has 7 in case you're counting), but I liked the symmetry of this one.
Mid '60s with "Color Band Tuning" so either the FM (green letters) or AM (red letters) band is illuminated when selected.
Wood cabinet rotates on a swivel base too!
Vion A80 Marine Clock with four Silence Zones. The silence zones indicate that for 3 minutes after the hour, the half hour and each quarter, radio silence should be maintained in order that any distress calls can clearly be heard by the emergency services.
The Great Clock was installed on Marshall Field’s State Street Store on November 26, 1897. Marshall Field envisioned his great clock as a beacon that could be seen for miles and attract crowds to his store which he saw as a meeting place.

The working clock is the oldest in the world. It is made with thousands of varieties of flowers and is re-created each year designed to commemorate special occasions. This year it celebrates the centenary of Edinburgh Zoo.
It was invented by John McHattie of Edinburgh Parks and was first planted up in the spring of 1903 in West Princes Street Gardens. In that year it had only an hour hand but a minute hand was added the following year. It was soon imitated across the United Kingdom and later throughout the world. Here the clock mechanism is set inside the plinth of the statue to Allan Ramsay adjacent. There is also a cuckoo which calls each hour.

I like clocks with hand. An angel may guard your time.
I built this working cuckoo clock out of Lego bricks. It's using a quartz movement that I modified to work with the lego bricks.
The clock was designed in Bricksmith and I bought most of the parts through Bricklink.

Anniversary clock German made Schatz. 1000 day movement, 4 ball pendulum. all brass construction. Plastic dome cover. This guy got good stamina...can last 1000 days with one winding:)
Only Time will tell and every clock tells a story....
The problem with clock is, once you got two they start to multiply..

It was a non-working clock which I wanted to hang up for display. After a while, I felt something amiss. A clock is not a clock if it does'nt work! So I took it apart and do some fixing, to my surprise I managed to get it ticking again ! I was totally fascinated From there I got my second, third and so on....
My favourite has to be the 400 day clock

A work in progress, this device uses a 3" cathode ray tube to display the current time. Each letter is built up from individual line segments. Anode voltage is roughly 1200V, and the entire clock runs from a 5VDC power supply.

One of the more fantastic aspects of being in New York, is the ability to take the train or subway across to Hoboken, New Jersey. Home of TLC's "Cake Boss" and Carlo's bakery. We took the path train under the Hudson River over to Hoboken, and walked around. While the line to actually get in the bakery was longer than the lines at the airport, it was really fun to see the bakery that I see on TV all the time. I loved this clock right outside of Hoboken City Hall.
