I am jealous of all my Flickr friends that live by and travel to the mountains. Florida is as flat as it gets! One thing we do have here are some of the prettiest cloud-filled skies in the country as the on-shore ocean breezes carry them across our very flat state. Quite often they tend to make our sunrises and sunsets very dramatic, and for that I am grateful. Location, location, location. Have a great weekend.

This simple dirt-road has been good to me over the last four years since I joined Flickr. I have experienced the joys of nature throughout the inland expanse of the Florida Everglades. I have seen beautiful sunsets and an abundant variety of wildlife from birds to alligators. This dirt road is the eastern border of the Everglades, and as simple as it is, it's been an amazing road. It's shown me the beauty of nature and has given me the ability to reach out and touch it with my lens, to understand its ebbs and flows while enjoying it immensely. The woman had a more simple yet important message on the other side of her protest sign. I had no problem asking her to show me that.
There weren't as many people as there had been on April 15. I was able to get right into the thick of the crowd and get photos and videos, unlike when I arrived a little too late on April 15 for the Tax Day March.

Enhance Golf course is a 18 holes Robert Trent Jr. signature Golf Course and not an easy golf course to play :). The structure that you see is the Crowne Plaza Shanghai Anting hotel it is located just beside the Golf course.
Partly dessicated, but something new is happening.
I have no idea what is the plant that buds, but it has conifer-like things happening in the lower part of its form. At the end of its reach, the remains of flower and fruit rattle in the wind.
Spotted as it grows out of a mossy crevice, on lichen-encrusted rock.

A VILLAGE SCENERY: We have this Paradise just 30 km from Madurai with good road connectivity, clean air, water and a grand feast for our eyes.
