Unsafe water and lack of basic sanitation cause 80% of all sickness and disease, and kill more people every year than all forms of violence, including war. Many people in the developing world, usually women and children, walk more than three hours every day to fetch water that is likely to make them sick. Those hours are crucial, preventing many from working or attending school. Additionally, collecting water puts them at greater risk of sexual harassment and assault. Children are especially vulnerable to the consequences of unsafe water. Of the 42,000 deaths that occur every week from unsafe water and a lack of basic sanitation, 90% are children under 5 years old.

We'd never really cleaned the room, never swept, never vacuumed, until Santino and I decided to be hardcore and make the place spotless.
A Tokyo Station cleaner waits for the signal to board the Express to Kanazawa. The process takes minutes for the highly organised and efficient team. Every move is timed to the second. The cleaning team then get off before the passengers embark and the train leaves the station exactly on time.

I took a stroll through one of the local antique stores. This is the biggest one in my area and has a ton of vintage stuff. I find shooting at a place like this gets the creative juices flowing..

Every year around this time thousands of volunteers clean up the river banks and pathways after the long winter, stuff gets buried in the snow and ice and can only be found once it has all melted, great job guys and gals thank you for all your hard work.
...and this is what happens 90 mins later. 8:20pm. I got a little, er... a lot carried away with the notes.
A lull in activity at Truro station west end sends Network Rail's crew out with a cleaning rag for the 1899 semaphore arms and lenses, grease and some oil for the lamp. Under current re-signalling plans, the closure of Truro, Par and Lostwithiel signal boxes in autumn 2023 would leave outposts of mechanical signalling at Liskeard and St Erth on the main line, along with the Newquay branch, where the signal boxes at St Blazey and Goonbarrow Junction would also remain. Remarkably signal T26 in the background dates from just 2009 when Network Rail had to install a new signal at the west end of platform 3 to allow a doubling of frequency on the Falmouth branch. The signal is carefully designed to both reflect historic Great Western signalling design and comply with modern safety regulations. Well worth a visit to capture a different era.
