Visited our absolute favourite Japanese (Sushi) restaurant - perhaps in the whole world! After a meal here, most other sushi restaurants just feel crass! We're back at Taka's here in White Rock, BC. Tiny hole in the wall place (with seating for 12 people), but almost impossible to get into on weekends.
Each time we visit we'll leave our menu entirely in the hands of the chef and just ask Taka-san to surprise us .. And each time, we are just floored by his selection, the delicacy of his sushi and the flavour explosion! Can't wait to go back!

Butch Schroeder opened his Burger Chef in Danville, IL, in 1960. In 1992, his franchise contract expired and the restaurant became known as "Schroeder's."
There's lots of Burger Chef memorabilia and ephemera related to his particular location, in frames and display cases in the restaurant.
