The only flour left on Tesco's shelves, was Buckwheat Flour - here is my offering: buckwheat chapatis. They were almost as good as chapatis made with regular flour, and beggars can't be choosers.
Perfectly fluffy, air-filled roti.
Work's been grueling lately, I was going to try to make it to the climbing gym this evening after a drinks with some photographer friends, but I just couldn't do it. I was even too tired to cook a proper meal, and only mustered enough energy to pouf up a couple of roti bread.
Today was surprisingly uneventful, otherwise.
They made the Chapati right in front of us. I almost killed that little boy when he slightly choked on a Wurther's Candy that I gave him :(

Is it the cosy, hot chapatis smeared with a generous offering of ghee that makes your mouth water? Possibly a huge blob poured in your favourite dal tadka that takes its aroma to the next level? Or that tasty bowl of completely dry fruits halwa made with abundant cow ghee that unexpectedly makes you wish for home-cooked food?
