First stop on the way to Jon and Caitlin's house was their favorite local breakfast place, a very modest, open patio room with hot chapatis and chai.
It was last day of yr2007,we al sat around the fire in the evening(what a cold desert!), sharing meals with the camel boys,sandy meals,beers,dance,folk music.. and some professional Indian joke about"Jamba Jumby"..The crazy new year party celebration lasting till midnight.An unforgettable memory.
