This entire structure is funded by donations, and the langar - meals for anybody and everybody - 24 hours a day - are deeply moving. Roughly 200,000 chapatis a day are served to 60-80,000 people, all on a donation basis. I had the privilege for staying for free (donations accepted) in the pilgrims area...this is what religion should be.
