In the kitchen of a huge Gurdwara in Delhi, people make chapati to be given out for free along with some daal and rice every lunchtime.

In act of pure desperation, I was forced to prepare my very own roti after receiving a curry dinner instead of kebab dinner from the local take away joint. This exploration in Indian cooking wasn't without it's down sides, including a messy kitchen and chapati flour in between my nails for two days, but towards the end, I believe I began to achieve some sort of chapati nirvana.
