There comes a time in the life of every photographer when he (or she) decides that it's time to 'play' with their zoom lens. This is one of my early attempts. It was taken in a church in Delft in The Netherlands. My camera was on a tripod. I think the exposure was about two seconds, zooming only for the second half of that (as near as I could estimate it).
Previously, Delta has already revealed that capacity is to be reduced into the UK for the upcoming Winter 2016/2017 schedule following the United Kingdom's decision to leave the European Union.
Airline Route has published two different schedule changes mainly affecting its London Heathrow routes, the two schedule changes are during the Winter 2016 timeframe and Summer 2017 timeframe.
For the Winter 2016/2017 schedule, Delta is to switch operational aircraft on both its London Heathrow to Detroit and Minneapolis routes. The changes commence from 29th October 2016 until 25th March 2017, which include:
-Detroit: DL18/19 converts from Boeing 767-400ER to Boeing 767-300ER operation, converting back to Boeing 767-400ER for the Summer 2017 schedule whilst DL16/17 will operate utilise Boeing 767-300ER's.
-Minneapolis: DL10/11 converts from Boeing 767-400ER to Boeing 767-300ER operation.
The Summer 2017 schedule sees Delta recommencing its 3rd daily flight between London Heathrow and Atlanta, following the announcement that Virgin Atlantic will be transferring one of two daily flights back over to Delta.
DL28/29 will continue to utilise Boeing 767-400ER's, DL30/31 will utilise Boeing 767-300ER's, however DL32/33 will utilise Airbus A330-300's.
For the first time since Northwest Airlines and Delta Air Lines merger, Airbus A330's operated by the US carrier will make a comeback after a lengthy absence (not including emergency diversions). Prior to the merger, Northwest Airlines regularly utilised Airbus A330's into London, first at Gatwick during the Bermuda II Agreement and finally London Heathrow from 2008 following the introduction of the EU-US Open Skies Agreement.
During the merger of Delta Air Lines and Northwest Airlines as both fleets started to be integrated, Airbus A330's were largely concentrated operating from major SkyTeam hubs, however with the fleet integration, Boeing 767's beame concentrated on other routes.
Delta currently operates the largest Boeing 767 fleet in the world with 91 in service, which includes 12 Boeing 767-300's, 58 Boeing 767-300ER's and 21 Boeing 767-400ER's.
November Eight Three Six Mike Hotel is one of 21 Boeing 767-400ER's in service with Delta, delivered new to the carrier in December 2000 and she is powered by 2 General Electric CF6-80C2B7F engines.

Today marks the day that my boyfriend Jay and I, began being nonsmokers. After smoking cigarettes for over 10 years, we quit exactly one year ago. So today, I celebrate the will and the want to change.
A little all over the shop this morning, some OK light when the clouds decided not to block it. Some fun little shore breaking waves rolled through occasionally.
Even rained on my way home!
It's Saturday so I will take it… enjoy your weekend.

First of all, sorry I was late...This is for Round 8 submission ( I've missed the R9 sign up :( )..I was challenged by Elo-365 (Who has an amazing stream!) to pick the first song that came up in my ipod and use that song as a theme. So I shuffled my ipod and "Change" came up from "The Cranberries"
Although I had so many ideas but couldn't make it with my extremely busy schedule. However, this shot didn't come out as I wanted it but given the time I had, this is the best I can do.. ..I used my iPhone to get all the shot and I tried to stand at the exact same spot every time I took the shot to get the same perspective...So these shots were taken on the same day from 0630 to 1930 (for the different lighting)...(Wish I had brought my SLR and a tripod!) Hahahaha...
So CHANGE in my interpretation is the same subject with different lights condition....SO there Elo, what a challenge...thanks so much!
I wish you all a beautiful Sunday!
Some more of the shooting with Lena!
Please be so kind as to visit her website spiegelverdreht.com. She became a really good passionate photographer!

26th February 2018. Here you can see BR 4MT 4-6-0 No.75078 charging up the Oakworth banking towards Haworth with a mixed goods train. This was not a normal day for the Keighley And Worth Valley Railway as the 30742 Photo Group had hired the BR Standard 4 to run all day on the KWVR line as the railway was closed to the public.
I felt quite pleased with this photograph as most of the photographers had stayed on the other side of the line so they would get more light from the sun in their shots. However, the organisers encourage you to move around and not just get the standard shot. We had already done a few runs with 75078 were I had taken some photographs on the other side - so now it was time to think outside the box.
When I edited the picture in LightRoom I just did my usual editing but also lightened the shadows to make the scene more acceptable.
Well I noticed runs in my pantyhose so I am changing into a shinier pair of nude Sheer Energy and its off to the store to buy more. It's definitely time to visit the park and maybe the ABS.
Found on trackwork during a weekend possession, these two loco types posing side by side is an uncommon sight. They also represent two significant locomotive classes that led to major change on their respective systems.
On the right is B61. The B class, introduced in 1952, was the first main line diesel on the Victorian broad gauge system, beginning dieselisation and the eventual demise of steam. The B class were also both the first GM-powered locos with tri-motor bogies (Co-Co) and the only locos with twin "bulldog" cabs worldwide. B61 was the second member of the B class and is 61 years old!
On the left is an 81 class. The 81 class was the first loco type in Australia fitted with electronic wheel-creep traction control (Superseries). Introduced on the NSW standard gauge system in 1982, they heralded a dramatic change in freight train operation in the state. This subsequently had an impact almost as big as the replacement of steam on the NSW network.
I tend to think of the 81 class as a modern loco, but the class is now 31 years old while 8171 is 28 years old. Still only half the age of the B class!
A Friday evening out and I felt it was time to slip into a maxi skirt again.
I find that changing the length of my skirts is something I really look forward to doing, be it going from short to long, or the other way round.
Stacie, Chelsea, Sassy and Veronica
Sassy --- Veronica Smithson, right?
Veronica --- In the plastic!
Sassy --- What brings you to F2K?
Veronica --- I'm here to cover all the behind the scenes action of the cast for the Dreamhouse shoot.
Sassy --- I guess Miss M. got in touch with you?
Veronica --- That's right. I have the exclusive to all things Dreamhouse. I just covered Barbie's showcase last night. Were you there?
Sassy --- Sadly, I had to miss it. I was planning for the shoot today.
Veronica --- You missed a really good show. So what have you got up your sleeve for the cast?
Sassy --- Well... I did have a very colorful wardrobe planned. You know, very bold. With a muted backdrop so that they'd really pop! She also said she wanted these two [nodding at the girls] in a few shots as well. So, I went and picked them up from their Grandparents' house this morning.
Veronica --- So... what happened?
Sassy --- When Miss M. came in and saw what I had planned she didn't like it. Any of it! That's why the girls are helping me break down the mannequins. All that work for nothing. Now I've got to take them back to their Grandparents' house because as Miss M put it, their services will no longer be needed.
Veronica --- Has the shoot been canceled? What's going on?
Sassy --- No no. She just changed her mind on the sister angle. She doesn't want them in the shot. Then she said her cast didn't need bold colors, blah, blah, blah... That they didn't need anything! Nothing at all!
Veronica --- So what does that mean?
Sassy --- Exactly what you think it means ...I tried to tell her, 'it's been done before' but [rolling her eyes] she knows best. I don't have time to argue with her. She knows what she wants.
Veronica --- Ohhh Sassy, you spill the best tea. This is a delicious scoop for V. News!

These were the Foot Guards of the Irish Guards, since they have the BLUE plumes on the side of bearskin ( this is how you tell them apart, also by looking at buttons ...but this is by far the easiest way )
