This evening's challenge was: time the caffeine correctly.
I had a live, in uniform, interview at 0235.
The Queensferry Crossing opened to traffic on 30 August 2017. This forms the centrepiece of a major upgrade to the cross-Forth transport corridor in the east of Scotland, representing a total Scottish Government investment of over £1.3 billion.
The 1.7 miles (2.7km) structure is the longest three-tower, cable-stayed bridge in the world and also by far the largest to feature cables which cross mid-span. This innovative design provides extra strength and stiffness, allowing the towers and the deck to be more slender and elegant.

The first year male Harlequin Duck on the right seems to be challenging the adult on the left for a spot on the top of the rock. He did not win that argument. (See next frame of the adult resting comfortably at the top.)
April Challenge Day 6 - Fisher-Price/Kodak
This year I'm using a different film format each month, starting with the smallest and working my way up through the sizes. The format for April is 110, the “Pocket Instamatic” cartridge introduced by Kodak in 1972 and still available today. I've got a lot of 110 cameras, so I've set myself the challenge of using a different one each day of the month. The plan is to shoot 2 or 3 photos with a camera, and then transfer the film to the next one for the next day, using 30 different cameras altogether.
My finished quilt for the Madrona Road challenge. It is 36.5 x 52 inches.

The Space Shuttle Challenger lifted off from Kennedy Space Center's Launch Pad 39A on mission STS 41-B on February 3, 1984. Aboard the Challenger were astronauts Vance D. Brand, Robert L. Gibson, Ronald E. McNair, Bruce McCandless II, and Robert L. Stewart. The first untethered spacewalks with the Manned Maneuvering Unit (MMU) were made on this mission. This dramatic air to air picture was taken by astronaut John Young who was monitoring the launch in the cockpit of NASA's Shuttle Training Aircraft.

When one bull moose challenges another bull for supremacy....both bulls go through a ritual where they stiffen their legs and rub their antlers on the ground in preparation for the battle. It was fascinating to watch recently near the Gros Ventre River in Grand Teton National Park.
Brazil is the world’s largest beef exporter by volume, leading a market that is expected to grow by 35% over the next two decades. With its vast territory, favorable climate, and strong cattle ranching culture, Brazil is poised to serve a growing share of the global market.
To face these challenges and spur a cycle of economic growth, Brazil’s beef industry must increase transparency across the supply chain, offering better visibility into the origins of its cattle and,most important, ensuring that production is not linked to deforestation.Brazil’s agribusiness industry has been a major driver of the country's economy. While Brazil’s GDP rose a mere 1.1% in 2019, agriculture grew3.81%—accounting for around 21% of the country’s total output. The beef industry, including retail and other associated sectors, is one of the main pillars of Brazil’s agribusiness sector, making up 8.5% of the country’s GDP in 2019.
