I enjoy reading to my two girls every evening before they go to bed. They both love books. Thank goodness they are past the age of wanting to read the same book over and over ... though repeat readings often do get requested. Luckily we go to the library often so we get a big supply of fresh books.

Last Saturday (10-07-2010) Berry and I went to the Solar Boat Challenge in the provence Friesland in The Netherlands. It was fun to look at these boats.
One Blythe. Seven days. Seven outfits.

The New York State Department of Health is pleased to announce the five finalists for the Aging Innovation Challenge, a crowdsource competition developed in partnership with HeroX to generate innovative solutions to assist older adults and their caregivers in carrying out activities of daily living.
The Challenge was open to all undergraduate and graduate students attending a college or university in New York State. The finalists were narrowed down from a field of 24 semi-finalists, which were originally selected from 35 submissions.
Finalists made a 15-minute presentation demonstrating their prototype and how it will impact older adults and their caregivers. (Mike Wren/Department of Health)
