Cells for detainees that were unfit for dormitories in the old Immigration and Naturalization detention center in Seattle WA.

Steeped in history this grade 2 listed cottage dates back to the 15th century and was originally home to the prior of a cell of Cisterian monks who transported travellers across the estuary to Barmouth. It later passed to notorious pirate David Williams whose initials are carved into the beam of the inglenook and the wall outside the front door with the date 1773. Comprising entrance hallway leading to lounge, dining room, kitchen and shower room on the ground floor with 2 double bedrooms on the 1st floor. The attached former barn is renovated to 1st fix stage with lime plastered walls and planning permission to convert into a 2 bedroom dwelling. The cottage retains many original features including ledge and brace doors, beamed ceilings, inglenook fireplace, panelled walls and has the benefit of modern day necessities of a recently refurbished kitchen and shower room with under floor heating. The rear garden is fully enclosed, prettily and maturely planted with many different elements including wood stores, greenhouse, pond and woodland area.

I made this wet-felted west-coast-inspired cell phone case for a friend.

My Georg Listing look-a-like BJD holding my TH/GL cell

Cellular structure of a moss-leaf with 45x magnification.

The chloroplasts, nucleuses, cell membranes and cell walls are visible.

Typical holding cell while waiting for intake, cell assignment, transfer, or release processing.

I had to call to get minutes added on our prepay cell phone. They had me on hold for a long time. I think they used some of our minutes!! :o(

Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, Phnom Penh, Cambodia

This is a house built with bricks but nevertheless covered with solar cells located in Emden, northern Germany.

These elongate cells are a typical shape for moss species in the order Hypnales. The costa can be seen extending up the frame.

See a wider view of the individual these cells belong to in the next upload.

My Georg cell being held by my Gerog doll <3

Wide array of cell phone selections.

17 mini cells were used for the detention of up to 6 inmates each. These were set aside mainly for Partisans, political prisoners and Jews scheduled for execution in the space of a few days, or sometimes weeks. The first 2 cells were used for torture or the collection of property confiscated from the prisoners.
