Cell window at Breendonck concentration camp. The figure is an exhibition photo (no idea who by) - I think it's a victim, but it could be a torturer; when they're in civilian garb, they look remarkably similar - just average people. Banal. However, the masking on the windows isn't !
Gleich neben der historischen Altstadt mit ihren zahlreichen Fachwerkhäusern. Celle in der Südheide, Sommer 2022
This is a junk shot, given the horrible quality and the lack of angle wide enough to encompass the entire cloud. It's here just for the interesting nature of it. This was a rotating, leaning LP cell under the shield of several larger, tornado producing storms, one of which was not too far to the west. What became of this cloud I'll never know, as the focus soon after was catching the tornadic cell to the west.

July 29, 2012 - Kearney Nebraska US
2012 was a dry summer and the storm season was few & far between. Last recorded rainfall for us was back in early June. Working constantly I had that Sunday evening off and was able to get out to get a few snaps of this oncoming storm.
Finally received some much needed moisture. Strong thunderstorms had formed out in western Nebraska & were dying as they were entering southwest Buffalo county here in South Central Nebraska.
No warnings on this storm but she was producing some exceptional views of the core. Incredible cloud to cloud and cloud to ground lightning strikes pummeled the earth . This storm cell was proceeding to the northeast from the southwest. It crested right on the northern outskirts of the city. Couldn't have asked for better light & storm. Many photographic gems in this set!

Extremely small cells, a bed, desk, washbasin,a toilet. A prison who had a few famous people, feared men (6) Karpis,Capone,George,Birdman,Roy Gardner and Frank Lee Morris. Built in 1934 and closed in 1963,
Interesting the escape of 3 prisoners the Anglin brothers and Frank Morris. Case closed with no guarantees that these 3 individuals ever made it to the main land....
Let your imagination work!
PS: I could not wait to get out of there and be outside.
A massive tornado-filled super-cell just outside Felt, Oklahoma USA. This was the hot spot for many notable storm chasers who called this the "Tornadogeddon" on Sunday, May 30th,. My first time chasing storms in tornado alley was just wicked. I am shooting from 3 feet into New Mexico with the storm in Oklahoma at the state line.
The first floor of the East cell block of the Ohio State Reformatory in Mansfield, Ohio. Pretty grim!
One of several large storm cells that drifted eastward over Binalong Bay and out to sea. East coast, Tasmania. A few rumbles of thunder, the odd flash of lightning and a sharp shower to go with it.
Composite image.
Took a few frames of this particular beast, one of which was a long exposure but the cloud detail was way too mushy. The normal, test exposure, had all the cloud detail but way too many distractions from the wash in the foreground so I decided to blend them.
