Various pics of my Oscilloscope computer case.

Started lfe as a 1960's vintage Bell and Howell Schools oscilloscope. Gutted it, added a $10 "plasma disk" in place of the old CRT tube display, did some Dremel'ing, sanding, hacksawing and drilling...and now it's a computer case.

The 'scope itself was about $10 on eBay, the motherboard/CPU is nothing special, a Celeron D 315 2.13ghz and all the other parts are spares, extras, and scavenged stuff from my scrap pile.

The front panel buttons and knobs operate the DVD-RW drive open/close, turning the display on/off, and the reset and power switches.

This little gadget is a great second computer for some and a perfectly adequate system for others.

Due to me using a crap PC to scan these in (a Windows NT4 Celeron box...) the colour profiles on these scans is a bit all over the shop... When I get on to my main PC I'll get them in Photoshop and align the profiles. The prints however do all of these the most justice.

"Geo. Washington described the land here in 1770. The French expedition headed by Capt. Celeron buried leaden plates at the mouth in 1749 and claimed land for France. De Bonnescamp's map gives creek name--Kanonouaras."
