My wife and I lost power as a result of Hurricane Matthew. We were without power from Saturday at 3PM until Tuesday at 7PM. I snapped this picture as soon as power was restored to our apartment.

Another pic of the ceiling fan.

Kind of self-explanatory.

Perched on the hillside, this home has great views of the Park Meadows Golf Course and Park City. One thing visitors will notice in the home is the extensive use of rare granite, marble and fine wood finishes. Jaffa Group Design Build, used only the finest materials to make this home a work of art.

A funky small Italian restaurant with really good pizza and lots of wines.

In this case, the hovering Little Bird in the play room provides a nice cool downdraft. I was initially concerned about settling with power given that we have zero airspeed and a high power setting. The only grace is the descent rate is under precise control.

As you can see, Micky is happily hovering and yelling "Look, mom, no hands!"

This was at Paul's apartment, back in May.

Well, according to the audio guide, the officers on board the Royal Yacht Britannia frequently enjoyed a game of wombat tennis. The game started by flinging an unfortunate stuffed toy in to the rotating blades of the ceiling fan. The audio guide was silent on how the game ended.

Seasonally (when we turn them on and when we turn them back off again), Hank develops a fear of ceiling fans.** He walks around the house, staring upward, with this look of terror on his face. This is a crappy picture of me, but I'm glad we got Hank's face on "film."

**Actually, Hank thinks *everything* is about to kill him. Never has a kitty showered with so much love been so convinced of his imminent, sudden, and violent death at the hands of the very people who love him.

Maybe I oughta toss it all out and put a single recliner in there... Hmmmm

The ceiling fan in my apt. There's just something about it.

I'm not even sure why I like this picture. I just do. Maybe not the most flattering angle. Oh well. My hair is all over the place.

As a side note, tomorrow is day 75. I dyed my hair on days 25 and 50, which means that I should dye my hair tomorrow. I don't think I can afford a box of hairdye for tomorrow. How lame is that?

Tsk. Tsk. Tsk. Look at that shoddy work in the back. And to do it in a law firm's office!

Is it just me, or does that vent thingy on the stove make it look like a nuclear device?

I am enjoying going through old images at the moment: Surprising myself by the things I did or didn't do, and had forgotten about.

I love this fan. It is remote controlled even.

I use to take dozens of pictures of it late at night when bored. Of all of those, this is my favorite shot.
