Designed and built this decorative roof structure with cedar trim and rain chain.

My friends Dan, Pete and Rick did a beautiful job restoring these two R-52s to something resembling the original factory beige, after the fans (including the blades) were coated in multiple layers of paint by previous owners over the years.

So few people stop amidst a hectic house show and admire the ceiling fan.

We tested two of these fans, one from each year, not sure off the top of my head which was which. These have the Adapt-Air mechanically reversible airflow system, but are otherwise identical to the 1965 R-52 we tested a little over a week prior.

I took the photos because I was bored and had seen similar pics on flickr.

our ceiling fan in the livingroom...

After a long shift at work, it was time to wind down with a little dessert. Let's see, after this one, there's only .... sixteen left. Going fast...

 

The lighting on this one was fun. There's a flash on the camera, pointing straight down, into a mirror, set to full power. There's another flash in a light fixture in the bottom-right of the frame being held by Robin about head-height, also set to full power.
