Day 184 - Thursday, July 25th. Freelensing again, but this time I grabbed the 80mm f2.8 Mamiya lens that I have for my M645. It was a bit tricky to use, but this shot came out the best. I was hoping for a better subject but for some reason that wasn't working out with the lens. I had to keep too much space between the lens and the camera, so there was a lot of light leaks.

This is one of my first shots with my (then new but now sold) Nikkor 17-55/f2.8 lens--a white ceiling fan on a white ceiling. This was shot at ISO 1600 on my Nikon D300 and I used Nik's Siver Eflex Pro for post processing. I like the graininess...it reminds me of film.
Isis works great in athletic facilities. The gentle breezes created by the fan increases the evaporation of perspiration , which makes everyone feel cooler.

Living area of the main room. We didn't paint this room, but installed the ceiling fan. Will do something about the fireplace eventually, as it doesn't match. And why most houses in Texas have fireplaces is beyond me.

80/365: Home is getting prettier and prettier everyday. All the ceiling lamps have been finally installed, filling the house with gorgeous light and a lovely breeze with this particular ceiling fan.

I had a real hard time taking this photo. Trying to stand with your phone pointed straight up over your face, at a spinning ceiling fan (going fast because it's frikkin' hot) and centering it so that you're directly underneath...
I almost lost my balance, quite honestly. ;) I wasn't able to center it in-frame, obviously, but I like it a bit offset anyway. :)
