La chiesa della Beata Vergine Incoronata è un edificio religioso di Sabbioneta, in provincia di Mantova.
Venne costruita tra il 1586 e il 1588 a pianta ottagonale sulle rovine della chiesa di San Niccolò, fatta demolire dal duca Vespasiano Gonzaga. Le decorazioni interne (1770 circa) sono opera di allievi della scuola di Antonio Galli da Bibbiena.
The church of the Beata Vergine Incoronata is a religious building of Sabbioneta, in the province of Mantova.
It was built between 1586 and 1588 on the ruins of the octagonal church of St. Nicholas, demolished by the duke Vespasiano Gonzaga. The interior decorations (about 1770) are the work of students of the school of Antonio Galli da Bibbiena.

This is the ceiling in the multi-purpose room at the convent, used for meeting, lectures etc.

Wernberg convent perched on a rocky outcrop overlooking a bend in the Drau River. The building run by the Sisters of the Precious Blood is actually in part a Renaissance castle dating back to the early 13th century. Today it houses a nunnery, education centre and guesthouse with its own farm and a well-stocked shop selling its produce. This was where we had dinner before going to Villach for the night.
I don't recall the church I took this photo in but I really liked the architecture and the detailed paint work.

This is a sculpture/light mounted on the ceiling of the new Community Hospital East main lobby. iP12Pro with native camera. Touched with Snapseed and Carbon.
Took this at Paolo's in Charlestown the other night. I was trying to get the texture of the tin ceiling to show better and ended up at one point with this, which I thought was kinda cool though not at all what it really looked like.

Rideau Hall's Tent Room - Resembling a candy cane or a popcorn box, it was created by Canada’s third governor general to host indoor parties similar to outdoor events held in England but with no bad weather. The room also doubled as a tennis court (1911- 1916).
