Museum in the Ironsmiths' Tower, Sighisoara Citadel, Romania

The Ironsmiths' Tower (Romanian: Turnul Fierarilor, German: Schmiedeturm) is located behind the Monastery Church. Its main role was to protect the church in case of a siege. It was built in 1631 on the foundations of the old Barber's Tower. From inside the citadel it appears relatively small, but is impressive when viewed from the exterior of the wall. (Wikipedia)

Palace of Diocletian, Split

We stopped by Belvedere Palace to see Gustav Klimt's art exhibition yesterday. This magnificent place has been turned into an art gallery for many years. I was hoping to take some shots of the water fountains in its garden, but the fountains ran dry without any water. The back side of the palace had a Christmas market set up there. There were herds of tourists moving around. It took us almost two hours of waiting time to get into the palace since we didn't book our tickets in advance. Once we were in, it was still pretty crowded. The only chance of photography without any human in the frame was to point the camera to the ceiling. And so I did in one of the big rooms.

Part of the ceiling in Tewkesbury Abbey that contains an emblem of the House of York in the shape of the sun. It was put here by the House of York to celebrate victory over the House of Lancaster in Tewkesbury in the year 1471. The Abbey was quite old even then, being consecrated by the Bishop of Worcester in 1121.
