This was the ceiling of a wonderful games coffee shop in Kiel. The lighting would flash off and on at various times to make it look like lightning beneath the clouds. Very clever, and very effective.
Well worth the visit.
Coffee was also very good. Sehr Lecker!
The Cango Caves is one of South Africa's finest, best known, and most popular tourist caves and attracts many visitors from overseas. Although the extensive system of tunnels and chambers go on for over 4 km (2.5 mi), only about a quarter of this is open to visitors, who may proceed into the cave only in groups supervised by a guide.
Tours are conducted at regular intervals on most days—there is a "Standard Tour" which takes an hour and an "Adventure Tour" which takes an hour and a half. The "Adventure Tour" consists of crawling through narrow passages and climbing up steep rock formations guided by small lights. The caves contain halls and limestone formations (on both tours) as well as small passages on the Adventure Tour. The smallest passage that tourists will have to pass through on the Adventure Tour is just under 15 cm to exit.

The Menin Gate Memorial to the Missing is a war memorial in Ypres, Belgium, dedicated to the British and Commonwealth soldiers who were killed in the Ypres Salient of World War I and whose graves are unknown. The memorial is located at the eastern exit of the town and marks the starting point for one of the main roads out of the town that led Allied soldiers to the front line.
Designed by Sir Reginald Blomfield and built by the Imperial War Graves Commission (since renamed the Commonwealth War Graves Commission), the Menin Gate Memorial was unveiled on 24 July 1927.
Effects done in DDG.

Visiting the magnificent Norwich Cathedral earlier this month I just had to take a photograph of the fantastic ceiling, however in very low light and without a tripod my options were limited but then I came across a mirrored viewing table which allows you to see the splendor of what is above your head by looking down - a lot easier thing to photograph.
