Just below a perfect night sky in Uyuni Salt Flats, Bolivia. I decided to face the cold winter(around 0 °C) and take advantage of the New Moon and catch the Milky Way right after sunset. I couldn’t ask for more!

0 for 3 when it comes to low fog but I won't complain as nature is just naturally beautiful.

Not happy with my initial set-up and looking for inspiration, this chap turned up and asked if it was alright to go fishing on the end of the pier - oh yes!

Catching the light while feeding.

A crop from the 1st Birthday photo shoot with my cute niece. She don't want to have her face online, but this part of the photo was cute too ツ

Here is my new thrift store find... I thought the handmade dress would be fun to photograph, and I was right. :) As you can see, I don't have shoes to match.. ;oP

Asahiyama Park is overlooking the city of Sapporo and a wonderful place to explore with kids. As the summer nears an end, I am reminded that childhood had as fleeting as the Hokkaido summer. While you are in the midst of it, it seems to last forever.

My blue series of water drop collisions were probably my favourite of the whole three months worth of images! :)

Enjoying a sunny day at Six Mile Cypress Slough in Ft. Myers, Florida. It is a park with inexpensive admission. Has a boardwalk with two ponds and tons of wildlife and birds-especially in the winter months.

Summer fun .... we made our own soapy concoction, then blew & captured the bubbles ... along with precious memories. <3

I cannot tell a lie, the droplets were added via a spray bottle before shooting...

When we've been away, I like to spend a little time on Sunday evening catching up with what I missed on We're Here. Thunderstorms this evening and I can still hear them rumbling.

Strobist: Yongnuo 560II and Nikon SB-24 with blue gels on full blast outside the window. Long exposure to pick up the screen of the tablet. Yongnuo RF-603 radio trigger. Thanks to the Mothership for stopping by and to the weather gods for not raining on my gear.

A manatee gathers with others around one of the warm springs at Three Sisters. Some sunrays also warm his back on this cold day. This photograph and the previous one were taken near the same time. You could add another 15+ manatee, for a total of 40+ manatee by this one spring alone, with more arriving. This is why these warm water sites are so important for the manatee on cold days and must be preserved for their winter warmth.
