So we went out to this one park and unknowingly ended up in this part with a creek in it. I always thought that creepy photos were easier to do in this kind of setting and I wanted to do a better version of the hand coming out the water thing. We ended up with a lot of bug bites but it came out cool! I just wish I captured everything correctly though. Yes those are my hands and hers as well. Genuinely scared, good job Aroyia!

Why is it always so difficult to memorize the dreams that we have during the night?
They usually quickly escape out of our minds as if they were sneaking away and
hiding the traces. If we could believe that thoughts find materiality then also our dreams might have the material shape as well. Then where do they actually disappear? Might they be stored somewhere? They can visit our minds several times per night, and often they just slip by barely touching our consciousness for a short while. The work "Captured Dreams" is an allegoric attempt to visualize the idea of the existence of pillows that could capture dreams and display them. As though the latent image is revealed during the photographic procession after putting it in developing chemicals...

I was photographing birds at Valley Inn Road when, again, I looked behind me and saw this lady capturing the scene with paint brush and canvas
this was shot by my wife while i was engaged in capturing the beauty of antelope canyon.

Handheld for 1.3 seconds. Everything that could be sharp is!
Actually what happened here was... the one on the tripod had plenty filters on and was running long exposures. Suddenly the sky came extra alive all around. So fetched the other one from the bag and began to take extra shots. More spectacular (in a way) than the carefully composed long exposures.
Focke-Wulf Fw 190A-5 / U8 non-commissioned officer Werner Oehme who lost his orientation during a night flight and made an error landing on June 20, 1943 in Manston, United Kingdom. No. 1426 (Enemy Aircraft) Flight RAF, nicknamed "the Rafwaffe", was a Royal Air Force flight formed during the Second World War to evaluate captured enemy aircraft and demonstrate their characteristics to other Allied units. Several aircraft on charge with the RAE Farnborough section were also used by this unit. The RAE facilities at Farnborough were utilised for the flight testing of German and Italian aircraft during the war.
Many crash-landed airframes were brought to Farnborough for examination, testing and cannibalisation of spare parts to keep other aircraft in serviceable condition. The main flight testing work was carried out by the Aerodynamics Flight of the Experimental Flying Department and the Wireless & Electrical Flight (W&EF), the latter responsible for evaluation and examination of radar-equipped aircraft later in the war.
Actually it's a captured, then re-captured, then un-captured, then re-captured again hideout.
My plan is to build three separate towers, one in classic castle, one in classic town (apartment block or hospital) and the last in classic space (observatory). And then display them side by side. Not sure how committed I am to the whole thing but I am keen to start the town one next.

It is a sweet trap...
this justifiable darkness
and the unspoken tension --
The aesthetic vein of chemical heat.
Pheromones.
His heart-beat
pounding in your ears --
thrumming.
And failing charm...
the variable innocence of his arrival
at your feet.
It is the falling scatter
of pure events
like sequenced dominoes
that lead to surrender.

Nikon D810 Zion Subway & Zion Narrows Fine Art Photography! Elliot McGucken Fine Art Landscapes!
The zion subway and narrows are amazing for fine art photography! Especially in the autumn and winter! Loved shootng the fall colors there this year, and returning a couple more times to capture the autumn leaves as they peaked at all the different elevations!

View your artistic mission into photography as an epic odyssey of heroic poetry! Take it from Homer in Homer's Odyssey: "Tell me, O muse, of that ingenious hero who travelled far and wide after he had sacked the famous town of Troy. Many cities did he visit, and many were the nations with whose manners and customs he was acquainted; moreover he suffered much by sea while trying to save his own life and bring his men safely home; but do what he might he could not save his men, for they perished through their own sheer folly in eating the cattle of the Sun-god Hyperion; so the god prevented them from ever reaching home. Tell me, too, about all these things, O daughter of Jove, from whatsoever source you may know them. " --Samuel Butler Translation of Homer's Odyssey

Long exposure shot taken at Myrtle Beach under a pier just before sunset, and the lights were coming on underneath to highlight the waves! Actually, it was much darker to the eye at that moment, but the long exposure captured a lot of light, plus the flood lights were shining down on the water. It was a beautiful and enjoyable evening for us. I was able to get a few shots along our walk down the coast. The temperature was perfect and the fresh sea air was amazing! And last we ended our journey with a pit stop for seafood on a beachfront restaurant 👌👌 :)
Thanks everyone for all your support, and I appreciate the friendships I have gained since I started Flickr!!
God bless you and yours...

I heard a noise in my kitchen and found this witch rummaging through my cupboards. Since I was afraid that she might bite me, I put on my oven mitt and grabbed her. Let me tell you, it was a good thing I thought of using the mitt; she fought, bit, and screamed like a banshee. I just wish I had thought of wearing earplugs too!
