Just before the buds of Urginea maritima are ready to open, a careless little bee has ended up as someone else's meal. She probably wanted to see if some of the flowers are opened, or just wanted to rest... Well, it's not easy being a little bug.
This crab spider (Thomisus onustus) is a small spider, expert in catching small flower visitors. It can change its color from yellow to white and vice versa, hiding better from its prey. Until the last moment, when it’s too late.
Sometime we love to do this in the concerts. When our favorite track hits or our favorite rock-star start some heavy rocking we always tend to capture those moments.

So, if you ever have Barr Studios out for a shoot, don't be surprised if I call time out to chase a bird or a butterfly. lol. I think most of our clients know by now that I can't pass up an opportunity to chase wildlife at any moment. There are always those moments that tell the story of the moment and this image is exactly that moment for the shoot we were on. An engagement shoot with Amy Beth McGowan and Mason Gassaway. Two people in the Spring of their life. Just like the butterfly they are free and beautiful spirits who compliment each other perfectly. Just thought I would share the circus that goes on in my head when I have a camera in my hand. Enjoy -Marty
