Have you heard the call of a Dusky-capped Flycatcher? Being from South America, he curls his rrrrr. Very adorable calls, I love hearing it.
These mushrooms are good eating - until they go like this!! The black ink used to be used for writing legal documents, I believe. This and the shape of the young fungus gives it the name "Lawyer's wig". They are also called "Shaggy ink cap" or Coprinus comata.

Black-capped chickadees are easily recognized by their short plump bodies, solid black cap and bib, and white cheeks. Their backs and wings are dark greenish-gray, with some streaks of white and black adorning the wing feathers. Their bellies are white with a light-rufous color on the flanks. They have small, pointed black beaks and dark legs. Male and female chickadees are identical.

This is my first time to draw on cap, and i plan to draw a pair of glasses only at first, but i made mistake again >_<, so i cover it by a black B......

Cap de Formentor forms the eastern end of Majorca's Formentor peninsula. The Majorcans also call the cape the Meeting point of the winds.
It is a spectacular bluff, located on the northernmost point of the Balaeric Island Majorca. Its highest point, Fumart, is 384m above sea level.

Le cap Fréhel est une pointe de grès rose au relief tourmenté qui ferme à l'est la baie de Saint-Brieuc, sur la côte de la Manche. Il est situé sur les communes de Plévenon au nord et de Fréhel au sud, dans le département français des Côtes-d'Armor.
Le cap Fréhel constitue une réserve ornithologique le long de la Côte d'Émeraude. Il est situé à 8,5 km du centre de Fréhel et à 4 km du centre de Plévenon, compte parmi les plus impressionnants de Bretagne : la falaise domine la mer d'environ 70 mètres. Un sentier entre les bruyères et les ajoncs, intégré au GR 34, fait le tour du cap. Par temps clair on peut distinguer les îles Anglo-Normandes de Jersey.

Bizarrely I was going to post this before Friday's atrocities in France. But it seems even more appropriate now
One of my favourite places.
I thought of that song because the handrail at the end of the jetty seems to beg you to dive into that wonderful sea on the French Riviera (although maybe a bit later when the Sun's up).
A positive message which to me just means go for it.
I guess we all have to go for it & not let disaffected nutters masquerading as Muslims stop us.
My heartfelt sympathies to all those and their loved ones tragically killed or injured on Friday in Paris.

A Red-capped Plover plucks a sandworm from the wet sand along the shoreline. These birds use their sensitive feet & sharp eyesight to detect & catch sandworms as they move through the sand. I watched this female slowly tapping the sand with one foot before she plunged her bill into the sand & came up with this sandworm.
