These mushrooms with the top of their caps cut off by a lawn mower was photographed in a lawn in Cody Wyoming. Does any one know what this variety is called?
A line of posts in the sand at Cap Ferret, France. They mark the edge of the areas where oysters are being cultivated.
Black Cap - While watching the woodpeckers, this Wilson's Warbler flitted within a few feet from me. I hadn't seen one of these in a few years and I finally got my first image of one.
Very handsome bird that was fun to see and a challenge to track and focus on.

Next to the Vauban Tower on the left dating from 1695, considered the oldest lighthouse in France, the modern Cap Fréhel lighthouse is still in service. Measuring 33 meters in height, it was built in 1950 following the destruction of the previous lighthouse by the Germans in 1944. Its range in clear weather is 110 kilometers.

Le cap Fréhel constitue une réserve ornithologique le long de la Côte d'Émeraude. Il est situé à 8,5 km du centre de Fréhel et à 4 km du centre de Plévenon, compte parmi les plus impressionnants de Bretagne : la falaise domine la mer d'environ 70 mètres. Un sentier entre les bruyères et les ajoncs, intégré au GR 34, fait le tour du cap. Par temps clair on peut distinguer les îles Anglo-Normandes de Jersey.
