I made a few of these braceketls for a group of Sorority Sisters. These we the the colors they had for the group. I made 7 bracelets for their reunion they were holding.

More than 100 cancer survivors and their families came out to Rush Cancer Center's Cancer Survivor day to participate in fun and educational activities.

No matter what color your bridge - this one is pink for my wife - the road for survivors is getting better. Awareness, research and EARLY DETECTION is making getting onto the bridge easier and the road to survival a little better each year.

 

Remembrance and prayers for those that never make it to the bridge, hope and prayers to those that are on the bridge and congratulations and prayers to those that have crossed the bridge!

Anna happens to be carrying a very rare Indian Head Leather Medicine Bag probley over 100 yeaars. I got it at an auction. It was full of cameras!

This was taken 3 days after surgery. I'm thrilled to be home, even with all of the assorted new holes and missing bits. This is the best smile I can do at the time.

The battle against cancer should not be surrounded by constant reminders of hair loss, pain, and suffering. It should give you the courage to express your beauty, undying faith, and hope. My friend's mom Bethany during her first stages of chemo. She's clear now..

Part of my cancer series. I think this clock might be too fancy for this series, but jules by night got me thinking about using metaphor's for time since that tends to be an important aspect to cancer and treatment. So I think a different clock would work better. I do like the idea about exploring time, at times it seems too slow and other times it's too fast. Looking for different things/metaphors for this series.

This is my 13 year old nephew, Evan. He is the son of my brother, Jamie, who passed away almost 4 years ago.
