The monument to Canadian Fallen (aka Korean War Monument) in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
This monument located in downtown Ottawa commemorates more than 30,000 Canadians who served in the Korean War from 1950 to 1953, and as peacekeepers in Korea until 1957. Inscribed on the monument are the names of 516 courageous Canadians who gave their lives for freedom and peace.
The monument depicts a Canadian volunteer soldier and two Korean children. The girl is holding a bouquet of maple leaves and the boy is holding a bouquet of maple leaves and roses of Sharon, Korea’s national flower.
An identical monument stands in the United Nations Memorial Cemetery in Busan, Korea, where 378 Canadians lie buried.
This monument was designed by a Canadian veteran of the Korean war, Vincent R. Courtenay. It was created by Korean artist Yoo, Young Mun in 2002.

Canadian Armed Forces De Havilland(Canada) CC-115 Buffalo '115463' making a tactical STOL approach to RAF Greenham Common during her display at the 1981 International Air Tattoo.
The Buffalo was a much improved version of their earlier and highly successful Caribou - one of many capable STOL (Short Take-Off and landing) designs made by that company.
Based in Europe in support of their NATO commitment, the Buffalo's were superceded by the CC-132 (Dash-7) then the CC-142 (Dash-8) but all left for home when the Canadian's eventually pulled their contribution back to mainland Canada when the 'Iron Curtain' came down.

Another rescue job and a good example of shooting into the light at Greenham!

While out waiting for some action on the CN Wainwright Subdivision, I heard a horn coming from the CP tracks a few hundred meters down the road. That's when I saw the front of a tan locomotive go over the crossing, I forgot about CN and booked it back to the car. After several long red lights, I managed to catch up to it a crossing or two down the line. Having had no time to set up, I had to shoot in between a bunch of power poles! But, in the end I managed to get some fairly decent shots of this newly rebuilt CP SD70ACu (previously an SD90MAC) sporting the "Desert Sand" paint scheme. This unit was inspired by Canadian and American Military vehicles serving in wars in arid countries, honoring the Candian and U.S. Military. Feel free to check out the video on my YouTube channel!

As per an official government website:
The CH-124 Sea King is a ship borne maritime helicopter with unique capabilities. The aircraft’s compact design boasts a fold-up rotor and tail that help it to fit on even the smallest warship’s deck. Its amphibious hull enables it to conduct an emergency water landing.
The CH-124 is powered by two turboshaft engines and is equipped with subsurface acoustic detection equipment and homing torpedoes. Employing these, the Sea King lifts off from destroyers and frigates to locate and destroy submarines.
Capable of flying in day or night, the CH-124 is a versatile surveillance aircraft. It was procured mainly for anti-submarine warfare (ASW), but has expanded its role since coming into service in 1963.
423 Squadron was part of 12 Wing Shearwater in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Victoria class submarine HMCS Corner Brook of the Royal Canadian Navy docked at the Lonsdale Quay in North Vancouver, BC. The RCN brought her into Vancouver as part of a post refit shakedown cruise. She had spent the last decade in the drydock after suffering damage from running aground. Now the refit and new technologies has made her the most advanced sub in the fleet. The Corner Brook wasn't opened to the public but she was still cool to see, not every day you can photograph a submarine.
