Calm after storm
After hurricane ophrelia hit Ireland on the 16th September we had a very calm morning on the 17th. This is on North beach in Rush looking back towards the range wall.
There was a lot of damage done in the south of Ireland but the east coast escaped most of the wrath of the storm.
Sadly 3 people lost their lives during the storm the first of it magnitude to hit Ireland since 1961 with winds of 180 knots recorded.
Had a killer sunset last night. After a long day getting the boat ready to go into the water for the upcoming season, we didn't want to head back just yet. Waited around for a sunset as they are usually incredible around georgian bay, Ontario, Canada. and as usual... It didn't dissapoint.
One of the more shy, timid puppies at the pet store... Many were running around and jumping in their cages or fighting with one another. Not this little one... Quietly sitting in the corner of the cage. Hopefully this puppy is just calm and chilling...instead of being frightened and confused. If I had a yard for a dog I'd want to take this one home with me. I hope for a great life for this adorable pup!
