This photo was taken for VCE studio arts. I love it because of the colours. The blur in the water achieved by using a slow shutter speed is also effective, making me feel very calm.

These rocks on the shore of Fort Island in the Damariscotta River are about to be submerged by the rising tide, but for now the sunrise light makes them magical.

The calmness after the storm...a lovely, autumnal sunset through the trees. This was viewed from San Jose, CA. Temps were cool this afternoon, reaching only into the lower 60's. It was a bit breezy as well. It felt chilly since a storm, which was the first of the season, was just departing our area. The city got roughly three quarters of an inch of accumulated rainfall from the storm system; 0.77 inches to be more exact. The rainy weather lasted around 2 days, which started late last Tuesday. Haven't had much time to take pictures lately. Too busy... well, taking pictures. But for work. Graduation portraits, mainly, for Chappell Studios/GradTrak/whatever they're called now.

Got back from Wichita Monday night, took B to the airport yesterday, and leaving for Chicago/Naperville/Oak Lawn in about twenty minutes.
