P.S. — this beautiful view also came with at least a billion itchy welted mosquito bites on my skin. They’ve long healed now, and I am left with being able to enjoy (& share! ☺️) this scene all this time later. It ain’t always glamorous in the outdoors, but it is always worth it. 〰️

The rivers along the North Shore of Lake Superior are beautiful. Some are more accessible than others. This one is called Cross River, located in the small township of Schroeder. It's accessible and offers good light most of the day due to the forest providing lots of shade.
I had some problems with this film, where all rolls have an imprint of the backing paper on the film, probably due to how it was stored. I acquired them second hand, expired of course. Live and learn.

Monks Chanting in Wat Bo monastery - Siem Reap, Cambodia
Each morning at 5 am, monks gather for prayer and chanting in their pagoda. It is a nice moment of calmness and quiet contemplation.
Wish it had been an old rowboat instead, but you can't have everything. :-)

The Canada lynxes usually look much calmer than the bobcat. But, I've learned not to take their stillness for granted. Sasquatch, the lynx in this photo, recently jumped at a zookeeper as I watched. Fortunately, the keeper was on the other side of a fence!
This was taken at the Aspetuck Reservoir in Easton on Center Rd. as the beginning colors of the sunset started to show in the clouds.

Not really. The water on Chequamegon Bay is quite still, the wind having retired. But the water has some energy, like the echo after an orchestra plays the final note.
