The end of summer at the lake....after this weekend things will slow down here, people will go back home and continue with their day to day obligations and responsibilities. Nothing beats the calmness on the lake at dusk and I can almost smell fall in the air. My favorite season is almost here.
Love doesn't only come in red, it comes in all colors. The calmness of blue, showing care through the serenity of the ocean and sky. The vivid green tones of the earth, showing us life that is not possible to flourish without love. Purple and pink hues of playfulness, youth and gentleness that is so precious and dangerous at the same time. The spirit of yellow, strong bonds, warmth of the sun and hope...because without love, there is no hope.

Calm sunset in Kattilajärvi, Lieksa, Finland.
It is always strange how fast weather can change sometimes.
After a hot and humid day a huge storm front went over us less than 30 minutes before taking this picture. Hail and thunder changed to dead calm waters just before the sunset allowing me take this perfect mirrored image.
Taken August 2020.
The sun has set, and the winds were dying down ... evening was taking over the lake there in Ricketts Glen.
Mac Mac Pools is truly one of a kind. Situated just 3 km from the stunning Mac-Mac Falls, this charming site gets its name from clusters of shallow pools; these natural pools are made when the gently twirling waters of the rocky river paves its way through the rough terrain to swoop down into small water pockets.
