Early morning shot of the Calgary skyline. I had my camera with me yesterday and saw the moon above the skyline and stopped to take s hot.
The Light Rail Transit system in Calgary is ever evolving.This Train has just left sunnyside station heading south.
Had my tripod with me this time, but forgot my remote shutter release :-( Overall picture was okay, but not as crisp as I'd like it. Good excuse to go out again :-)
West Coast Motors Solo YJ62 FNK at the Calgary terminus of route 494 on the Isle of Mull on 11 May 2017. It had just arrived on the 1000 494 from Tobermory and would return at 1100. As can be glimpsed in the background the beach at Calgary is delightful. The bus is operated by Dervaig outstation.
Calgary's Eighth Avenue Place tower is just about finished construction.
The 51 storey Eighth Avenue Place started construction without having signed any tenants. The developer built during a downturn in order to have cheaper construction costs. Many thought the builders were crazy, but they have 80% of the building leased, so the gamble seems to have worked.
Calgary's twin city on Mars? Or just me goofing around in Lightroom? This picture originally turned out too dark, and amping up the exposure made it look worse, so I decided to go sci-fi on it.
I'm going to re-shoot this photo again, with a long exposure but get more light in the picture.
