I had some errands to do, and realized I could get a lot of them done by heading downtown. Although cool, the sun was shining, and so the walking would be pleasant. Calgary has one of the highest downtown parking rates in the world, and to avoid those charges, I parked in a two hour free parking zone on the north side of the Bow River. I was pretty sure I could get everything done in two hours, as long as I kept moving. Here is the second instalment. Initially, I had planned to take "the good" camera, but accidentally left it at home, and had to make due with the phone camera. It turns out it worked in my favour, as taking photos with the phone is much quicker than with the real camera. Enjoy!

The Festival of Chariots, also known as Rath Yatra, was first held in Calgary in 2004. The event has been held in major cities around the world, after originating in Jagannatha Puri.

Built in 1968, it was originally called the Husky Tower, but was renamed Calgary Tower in 1971.
