Sunset at Calgary Bay, where many people departed Scotland for the last time during the highland clearances.
The light was cracking!
I had some errands to do, and realized I could get a lot of them done by heading downtown. Although cool, the sun was shining, and so the walking would be pleasant. Calgary has one of the highest downtown parking rates in the world, and to avoid those charges, I parked in a two hour free parking zone on the north side of the Bow River. I was pretty sure I could get everything done in two hours, as long as I kept moving. Here is the second instalment. Initially, I had planned to take "the good" camera, but accidentally left it at home, and had to make due with the phone camera. It turns out it worked in my favour, as taking photos with the phone is much quicker than with the real camera. Enjoy!
Went for a long walk around Calgary today many photos to follow :-) The white bridge is being replaced and the green bridge may be removed when they put the green line LRT through princes island park.
